Someone on twitter is considering handing their seasons in for a refund because SOD has signed on again.

There aren't actually that many players who could re sign. Slattery. Connolly and Mugabi I think.

Very positive response to SOD signing on again on the MFC Facebook page. Which surprised me somewhat as it can get v harsh on there at times.

That's completely correct but there are fans who don't think the league position we achieved in the last two years is good enough. Or the quality of our squad. I saw someone I think it was on here say that last seasons squad was the worst they had ever seen as a Motherwell fan. Personally. I think we will always struggle to make fan ownership work given the small numbers of core fans we have. I do appreciate the league is tight and there's not much points difference between places at times.

I personally don't think we can carry on as we are and I don't think the well society is the answer either. There has to be a mixture of fan investment and outside investment if we want to grow the club as far as I'm concerned.

No. He's a good player I and doesn't quite fit into the rest of our "shite midfield" Slattery shite Davor shite and too lightweight Halliday past it Nicolson - only had one good game against Livi.

Played 31 games the season he joined. 29 the following season and 20 before the knee injury. Those aren't the stats of someone who struggles with fitness.

No one has asked the support for more money - and no one is obligated to give either.

Hopefully there can be a balance found between living within our means and not going back to the days of overspending that saw us go into administration. I personally do think we need some kind of investment.
