  1. I was unable to make todays game, however, our performances this season are like a broken record.
  2. Jacky McInally in action against Killie, circa 1970.
  3. Dougie Arnott Dougie matchworn shirt available for a whopping £174.99...
  4. Airdrie score in ‘that’ semi final. And the aftermath of that Hearts semi.
  5. I wasn’t allowed to go to the Spurs away leg as it was on a school night. If I remember correctly the Forth, Lanark supporters club ran a bus to the game, I was so jealous of my Dad and the rest of the group that night.
  6. What’s going on with Willie’s wallpaper at his house in Hamilton? I think it’s time to call the wallpaper design police.
  7. Motherwell v Celtic 1976 Scottish Cup. We won 3-2, this was one of my favourite moments watching the Well as a kid.
  8. Some more 60s/70s pics Rangers v Motherwell, 1962. And the infamous 1978 Rangers pitch invasion game
  9. Motherwell v Celtic, 1933 Scottish Cup Final. We lost 1-0 and the attendance was 102,339,
  10. Willie Pettigrew attempts to scare match day mascot Alistair McCaskill.
  11. He has a new promo video... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZGurewiWhew
  12. They sure do Andy, however, you become more hardened to it as the years go by. For me, I found it much worse when I was a kid at school. But aye, it’s no easy supporting the Well.
  13. We now need to kick on from that Killie victory, and at least make it look like we are capable of scoring more than one goal, as one will rarely be enough to win games in this league. I predict a record goal scoring 2-1 for the Well.
  14. It’s funny how certain matches stay with you for ever. I would have been about 13 then, an age when getting beat off any team was very hard to take. It does get slightly easier as you get older (I promise), as by then you have pretty much experienced all the ups and downs that go with supporting a provincial side. School was a nightmare (as I am sure it still is) and the Forth/Lanark schools there were no different from all the other primary/secondary’s in Scotland, full of glory hunting Old Firm bastards who never attended the games. And that is one reason why it was so sweet to beat them in the recent play off game, if only to say not this time lads.
