A good young prospect, however, according to his Wiki page stats he only scored 2 goals in 25 appearances for Ross County last year and 1 in 27 appearances when on loan with Kilmarnock. I am sure that Barra and his contacts will have another player in mind.

It would seem that the clear difference between us and sides like Preston is the finishing. The ability to take our chances will be the difference between challenging at the top end of the table or fighting against relegation. Hopefully our strikers will start converting more opportunities, starting with Inverness next Saturday.

I assume the new kit will get it’s first outing in the league opener against Inverness as we appear to be playing all of our pre-season games in training gear.

My favourite goalkeeping kit combo was Keith MacRae’s all black kit, if my memory serves me correct he was asked to change it before a match once as it clashed with the referee’s kit. However, strangely other refs had no issue with him wearing it. To this day, Keith is still the best goalkeeper that I have seen play for Motherwell.

A lot of the talk surrounding Faddy is more sentimental than anything else. Even Faddy can't hide the fact that he has performed well below the level that he once was, however, if he was willing and I am not sure he is I would offer him a pay as you play deal (if he plays we pay him, if he doesn't we don't). I am desperate for Faddy to get back to a fraction of the level that he once was, however, I suspect his mind is willing but his body is weak. I have no doubt that he is a great person to have around the club, however, we are in no position to pay people a wage to act as a motivator.
