  1. Both kits are great, however, if I had to nick pick I would have made sure that the sash on the top right shoulder finished flat against the seam (at the moment it looks as if the corner has been chopped off the diagonal band). My preference has always been for a flappy collar as per the original 70s top, however the V neck is better than a crew neck. The away is a cracker and I would change nothing.
  2. No I have just cropped in on one of my sash mock ups and flipped it the way that I think the alleged claret diagonal sash might go (purely a guess from the information available on here).
  3. Now that would be a shock! Lol
  4. Certainly on the Facebook ‘Win the New Home Shirt’ competition it states: Your nominee must be able to attend the launch of the kit at Fir Park on Friday 3rd July at 1.45pm*, however, hopefully as Dave said we will get a preview later today.
  5. I heard it will be the 6th July at the very latest.
  6. A look of shear joy and relief! One of my favourite Well celebrations to be captured on film.
  7. Anything that keeps us out of the play-off spot will do me, however, first would be great! Lol
  8. It looks like there might be a division between the young and old when it comes to the validity of fluorescent kits. However, I would hope that the department entrusted to increase our replica kit sales will have done their research on the target market. Consequently, if ‘emergency service’ yellow tops are in vogue I would have sweat shops churning out neon Motherwell kits 24/7 to satisfy the demand. I have always backed the traditional home kit, however, the away I think is fair game for some experimentation. However, a non traditional, diagonal claret sash shirt could also be viewed as a risk that could potentially upset the claret hoop purists and effect shirt sales. Whatever designs we get, I am hopeful that Provan Sports will not disappoint us.
  9. I agree weeyin, however, us old yin's are not the target market. The club need to appeal to the youth market as they are the ones who are buying or asking their parents for the tops.
  10. I can see fluro designs appealing to a youth market, which if I’m honest is the right approach in order to get as much revenue as possible (any youngsters care to clarify this, or am I just making assumptions on what I think will appeal to this age bracket).
  11. Wrexham striker Louis Moult is currently having a medical with Motherwell. The 23-year-old was the Welsh club's top scorer in 2014-15. (BBC Wales)
  12. I think the play-off situation and the rumoured new kit sponsor as held it up. However, I am sure someone on here mentioned that Cash Convertors had signed up for another year (Although I think the club said on their twitter feed that the sponsor was changing, maybe they have had a change of heart).
  13. Where is Bob these days, is he still out on loan?
  14. Moult’s a good height as well 6ft I think.
  15. That seems like a complicated way to produce a shirt, as they would have also had to stitch a claret adidas, MFC logo and claret V neck onto the yellow Forest away shirt. However, as the shirt was for players only and not available for sale I can perhaps see some method in their madness. There was an adidas replica kit ad from the time featuring all the clubs they supplied and sadly Motherwell didn’t feature (probably because you couldn’t buy the strip).
  16. In a recent interview in the press he stated that he was going nowhere, however, in football you just never know.
  17. Yet another superb listen lads it was well worth the wait.
