  1. On the flip side the Championship may benefit from having three of the best supported teams in Scotland now plying their trade in it. I have no doubt that ex pats from Hearts, Hibs and Sevco will be desperate to watch their respective teams fight it out for the title and that will gladly pay for the privilege. However, I can see Doncaster offering a football package to TV channels that will include both the Premiership and Championship games. I sincerely hope that we don’t sell ourselves too cheaply.
  2. When did that happen? I hadn’t realised that our stadium name was available to the highest bidder. How much does it cost?
  3. The only highlights on You Tube appear to be from a Rangers perspective. I am not sure why the other clips that used to be there have been removed.
  4. Maybe too controversial for some, however, I would not be adverse to whoring out our stadium for cash if it meant securing the financial survival of our club. I remember a few years ago Real Radio were rumoured to be interested in advertising their wares at Fir Park (The Real Radio Stadium?). This may just been a myth, however, we should be looking at bigger avenues to generate income even if it means a short or long term change to our stadium name. Trying to squeeze more money out of empty fan pockets will not keep our team afloat. Our new general manger’s number one aim should be to generate some much needed cash ‘Flow (if you pardon the pun) into a club that is leaking money on a daily basis.
  5. We can forget signing the likes of Paddy McCourt as we are skint. At this moment in time Motherwell couldn't even afford to sign me. Our policy should be to bring through promising youngsters with the aim of selling them on for a profit.
  6. We are leaking money faster than the daily interest on a Cash Converters payday loan. The way I see it... • We have no players of note to sell in which to generate much needed instant income • Despite recent league success our fan base shows no sign of increasing • The Well Society has not generated the income hoped for • Unless drastic measures are taken we are heading for a fall and into deeper financial problems We need to act now and prepare to accept a period of scrapping in the bottom six by playing more youngsters. This will be tough to accept after our recent league success, however, for the financial future of our club it's a policy we may need to adopt. In a word we are skint with no visible means of support. Can we fix it? I hope we can.
  7. The consequences are that we will be back in administration just like Hearts. The gravity of our current financial situation should not be underestimated unless of course we can attract some much needed investment.
  8. A few interesting quotes from Geoff Brown as regards fan ownership. Is he right? Fans can't run clubs says St Johnstone owner Geoff Brown.
  9. Any rumours on where he might end up?
  10. He would be a great signing, however, he is out with our budget.
  11. Assuming his injury woes are behind him I would love Craig Gordon to be in goal for us next season. However, the chances of that becoming a reality are probably slim.
  12. My favourite last minute winner.
  13. I would pin this list on the board as a reminder for us all to think twice before we criticise the team or management. Good post Texan.
  14. Aberdeen could be in trouble regarding comments about the ref on their official site...
  15. Well said MJC, however, you need to have more belief in you team next season...
  16. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaassss!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. The badges on our recent kits appear to be more like an appliqué printed patch which has been stitched onto the shirt. I much prefer the fully embroidered badges that we have had on some of our past tops. Looking at some other Macron kits I was hopeful that they would reverse this trend, however, looking at these images it doesn’t look like it. However, ultimately it is up to each individual manufacturer to decided how they go about this process.
  18. I wasn’t trying to steal their thunder it was just a lucky guess at the design. I have tried to second guess kits before and been a mile out. If I had seen the designs and then revealed them without permission that would be wrong.
  19. Designers enjoy second guessing fellow designers.
  20. Yes, my home guess was purely instinct and by going on what Macron had produced recently.
  21. I was pretty spot on, however, it was purely a guess having looked at some other Macron templates.
