It would be interesting to see the audience figures for the beginning, middle and end of the match. In saying that, very few neutrals would have tuned in to this game anyway. If they did, they probably wont watch any Motherwell or Hearts games ever again.

For me it has to be Shaun Hutchinson. However a special mention for Chris Humphrey, he caused the Hearts defence problems with his direct style of play.

I have always believed that sports psychology can have an important part to play in the game. At times especially against the Old Firm we look beat before the game starts. With a more positive mindset we might just win a few against Celtic or Sevco Under 14s.

Ojamaa, Murphy and Humphrey all looked a threat. Ojamaa for his work rate and effort just shades it for me.

I thought that we were unlucky to lose the game, however we really need to start converting some of those chances. A cliche but goals win games, and If I was McCall I would be a little concerned at our lack of them. I hope we can rectify this against the other Dundee side on Saturday.

Drawing Sevco would almost certainly mean an early exit, as I can’t see us ever beating that mob again (home or away). Sadly, they could field a team of under 12s and they would still hump us.
