This is a interesting draw, Rangers are not as strong as they once were and are probably have a similar standard of player of the likes of Dundee United, Hearts or Aberdeen. I would have preferred to have met them at Fir Park but there is no reason why we can't go to Ibrox and get a result. Bring it on!

The whole team played well today however Higdon, Kerr and Randolph were the stand outs for me. Purely because of his superb hat trick I need to choose Higdon as my man of the match.

Another tough match, in the previous five meetings we have had a mixed bag of results. 2 wins to us, 2 wins to them and 1 draw. Exactly, it’s not working out for him at the moment but the guy certainly gives his all for the team.

It definitely came off Hammel, if players spent less time moaning about referees decisions and concentrated on defending we might win more games. At the end of the day it’s rare that a ref or linesman change their mind, it’s simpler just to get on with it. The similar thing happened at Levante’s second goal, players moaning about offside when they should be playing to the whistle.

The ref/ linesman got it spot on, I was right next to it and the ball came off Hammel.

Sorry I thought we were dire today, on the plus side I thought Kerr had a decent game and was the best of a bad lot.

I remember those games well, if only our present day players could summon up some of their predecessors passion we might have had a chance against this mob.

After last nights display I would have to say no. For the majority of the game Levante could have played without a keeper, in fact I can only recall one instance when he had to intervene. Unfortunately Motherwell appear to struggle against the better sides in Europe, where some other teams seem to positively thrive at the challenge.

A very poor night, all be it against a team that operate on a different level to us. We need to learn from these defeats, if we don’t there is no point even turning up. The first goal looked offside, but why the fuck do we not play to the whistle. This surely is basic stuff! Over all we got what we deserved, fuck all.

I saw a few in Glasgow, and they looked a bit miserable for some reason! I hope they are as miserable after the game.
