Bovril cup or bovril thimble? They were tiny in the phil odonnell stand!

You are right in a sense. Think he played with us in Cypus in an U19 tournament right enough. Not sure he has been in Scotland very long.
of which he struggled to get a game! Not one to write anyone off before they have kicked a ball, but I think the talk of his club waiving a fee for a percentage of his next sale has shaded peoples understanding of how good this boy is!. I said earlier in another thread that well supporters won't be excited by any signings we make in terms of names but we can all hope that they gel quickly and make a real go of it this season! Every player is only one season away from a big move, so if they have not been the best in the past so long as they are with the well that's all I care about!

I'd be amazed if we DO sign him. Given the number of players we have had on trial since January (and not heard a thing about since) it would be different and refreshing for someone to break that run. Admittedly, that may be down to other factors and not just 'not being good enough'.
Now if he does get signed he must have something in the eyes of Brown/Knox and for the time being that will do for me.
Still worried about Hollis though. Like to give my posts a bit of balance
the cypriot boy had been on trial for the last six weeks of the season, he was the first to break the run but not sure if its a good thing yet!
-
Cokes the worst player I've saw in a 'Well shirt since Bob Malcolm and even he could give him a run for his money
Completley disagree with that I'm afraid. I think the guy had everything to be a top player but reckon he has a bit of a lazy attitude to really fulfil his full potential!
-
He def is on the radar. From some of the targets that paw broon has in his sights for next season that I have been told in the last few days, I am a tad worried!
-
current well player sadly!
Everton want a fee and do not want to loan him again which is seeing us out the picture at the moment unless boyle feels like self-funding it again!
juke wants to come back here but its out of his hands at the moment

No mate been told by a well player
-
Looks like he is watford bound as everton are keen to sell him
this summer due to him only having a year on his contract left!
-
Duke to watford possibly and coke to one of two teams in championship

Am I too late with a cheeky £70 bid?

Back off topic.
Firstly, what a goal to celebrate my birthday with.
Secondly, anyone interested in buying his (signed) boots from that game?
I would be mate pm me what your looking for?
-
Where?
with his agent
-
aberdeen, celtic, bristol rovers, aberdeen, norwich and another couple of teams all noted their interest in Jim.
doubt he will be making any decisions until the end of the season, and certainly dont think it will be hearts!
-
bristol rovers are among his admirers very keen for him to sign this window. reckon he will be here till end of season at least though!
-
craggs linked with ross county
-
Back to the transfers I see Steven McLean is yet to be signed up by hearts or Aberdeen

Like many, I was pretty dubious at first when I heard we had brought in Craig Brown, but you can't deny he does come across well and does talk a great deal of sense. He's certainly winning me over for one. Hopefully some of his 'wisdom' can get through to a few of our younger players and get them to realise that the grass isn't always greener.
felt the same about gannon and mcghee and it didnt work out the way i thought it would in the long term.
aside from the way he has come across, i hope he does get it based on his and knoxs knowledge and previous credentials in the game.
the fact he talks a good game is just a bonus for me!

Ewings was first choice for a couple of seasons with the Rovers the decided to move to the US. Can't remember if it was for a scholarship or some coaching thing.
Back he came to Scotland though and was signed up again at Cliftonhill with all expecting him to resume duties as number one.
Ewings found himself suspended for either the first or first two league games of this season if I remember rightly so the laddie Gaston was given a shot against Celtic in their Jock Stein Friendship Cup thing and played an absolute stormer as Rovers took them to penalties after a 0-0 draw and then their League Cup game against Livingston where he also kept a clean sheet.
Since then Ewings has been rendered a spectactor hence he sits on the bench looking glum remark.
went to play in Ireland before the team went bust! Thought u were meaning more to that than him losing his place
cheers mate
-
Ewings sits on the bench every week looking glum as ever.
confused by this, please explain?
-
I've seen that Albion Rovers keeper a few times and he looks good. But not ready for the SPL yet.
He must be 2nd choice at rovers as ex well player jamie ewings is at Albion
-
Fair play mate! Don't blame him!
-
Personally I'd rather not know.
What good would gannons side of things have on the impact of our season.
Granted there's two sides to tell granted we all have opinions on who was right and who was wrong!
Personally as much as I wanted gannon to succeed I'm now bored of all of this and simply want to move forward and. Continue what I feel is a decent start to the season and really do hope we can build on our current six place position!
