Dougie Arnott? Would'nt surprise me
I kinni tell you nothing!
-
The players do read the forums.
Ill second that, i know of two ex players and one current who reads them regularly
-
hammell better not be going anywhere, gannon going by what has been said by stockport folk etc, has the ability to make him the best left back in the country, I think it would be a massive mistake to let him go anywhere!
-
He got more than his fair share of chances to prove himself under McGhee. I personally don't rate him as much of a player, and certainly not for the SPL. He does try hard though and would probably do a good shift in the 1st division.
Hammell out of favour too by the way?
dont be surprised to see him move on too before the season starts, aberdeen are interested!
-
like everyone else I am completely stunned by this!.
thoughts are with pauls family and friends RIP wee man
-
Just wait till we go through a bad patch the positive comments about gannon will soon end! Don't get me wrong I'm loving the last result but I feel they were a poor side so
I'm not getting carried away! Lets all come back here next may when we are actually in a position to draw comparisons between the new manager and the old one!
In the meantime I'm fully behind mr gannon and i'm loving the influx of youth players! Just hope they develop as we hope and that we are in a position to keep hold of them for as long as possible!

Just got it there as well.
as much as I appreciate chartering a flight would be expensive, i think its pretty hefty given it doesnt include accomodation and corporate hospitality.
although it works best for folk like me i guess who need to be back for work quicker, although i would rather make a short break of the trip

Expect a signing today and another next week going by this from the fishel. happy days!
When we do bring new faces in I know I will have a more complete squad. The young players have a chance to make the squad even deeper. Looking towards next week, we have Giles Coke registered and we will have another player in by Friday and then I can work hard to get a wild card in. “As you win games the sense of urgency builds but it is important to get the right players in, and I am hopeful of one on Friday and one before the game.”
-
I reckon Gannon meant 8 in total not another eight although I'd b delighted if another eight are to follow though!
-
too be fair his profile pic is a bit crap, but i cant stop watching his wee video thing, that burd is amazing!
-
Apologies if already been mentioned but Gannon is to make a decision over ex Hibs midfielder Damon Gray in the approaching days....
thought he was with partick?, did well for them on loan a season back, remember them being gutted that he was cup tied when they played rangers in the semi i think it was!
-
Right guys, I wouldn't be suprised if there is a signing made today/tomorrow and I'll put money on it being a goal keeper! The reason I say such is that rumour has it only gannon took training this morning with no sign of his assistant and goal keeper coach(meldrum). Feeling is there away sorting something out! Maybe totally wrong but with early discussions on here this morning I think there's something in it with these 2 missing from training today should what I've heard be true!
sounds interesting!
owain fon williams per chance?
-
seen a lot of evidence of mcghees comments about obrien when he said he plays like he is a young boy !.
quite a few occasions he wanted to beat the man rather than play someone in, and at other times wanted to beat the man three times!, hope gannon knocks it out him as he really does have potential if he can improve on his final ball!
-
thanks mate thats great cheers
-
anyone know if you can get this channel on a telewest d box?
-
Anyone considered him to be a replacement for hammel?
-
We have brought in over a million in transfer fees but we have also saved the wages of the nine first team players that have left so if you add that up i bet that comes to a fair portion of our wage bill from last season,we should be at least replacing the players that have gone player for player to bring us up to the numbers of last season.Mcghee said he was going for quality in our squad rather than quantity and thats why we had a small squad,if we only bring in 6 players i think we can take it that our esteemed owner has cut the playing budget AGAIN...............
was talking about our current situation last night with an ex well player and he was telling me that sutton is on 1800 a week, I was pretty shocked! If we are paying money like that to John sutton we must have saved a fortune this month on wages alone!
-
No
fantastic!
-
If we sign anyone between now and next week can they play in the 2nd leg?
-
Motherwell fc = cardiff city's feeder club
-
I believe that the move to hibs was s done deal, mixu leaving has put that and three other deals up in the air as yogi doesn't want any of them smith included! Hibs are even having to pay compo for a boy they were going to sign and now don't want! Wouldn't b surprised if smith stays as well as Hughes! Unless another club other than Brighton make a move over the next month!
-
I strongly believe we will see him in a well shirt this forthcoming season!
-
Bit harsh to be fair, he's certainly made a lot of controversial comments but they're usually quite justified. He'd often criticise pitches or, most usually, officials - it's very much to his annoyance that a game you spend all week preparing for, with so many professional people putting lots of effort into it, ends up being decided by the incorrect decisions of a man whose day job is a traffic warden. Get ready to hear the word 'professionalism' a lot.
are you Jim Gannon?
-
Or are we now dependent on DC leaving to fund squad rebuilding? Has Gannon already been promised some cash from the deal? I don't think selling him was necessarily the right move, but have we now painted ourself into a corner where we can't afford to back out of the deal...?
as much as I hate to admit it I don't think the deal means anything towards a squad rebuild! Davids fee from what I gather wouldn't go towards the squad! I presume some of the money would be put towards wages but think we can forget about paying any form of transfer feefor anyone! Again purely my opinion on assumptions made over the last few weeks! X
