  1. Thought he resigned with Liverpool recently.
  2. Are we waiting in the wings , poised to swoop. I can see the headlines now. Ex player agrees to manage The Well on a four year contract. Quote “ I always loved the chips out of The Rex. “

    New kit for 2025/26

The answer as always nowadays is …..money.
  4. Is that a serious question , if so I might not give the answer that you want me to
  5. Or just a link in……the chain
  6. Ok , I promise I won't use foul language in front of Mrs Grizzlyg then.
  7. Hope to feck we never paid a fee for that transfer.
  8. Aye , cheers for the reply that's about a summary of my thoughts too . But really you are on a hiding to nothing being the Well manager as its inevitable with financial constraints, support numbers and location as close to Glasgow, that eventually they run out of ideas , having to sell the best players doesn't help and results drop off .Then they leave . Terry Butcher installed great team spirit then went off to the sun . Tommy McLean was astute but not very personable. Craig Brown was a very good manager also proving experience really does count. I liked him , he left for a better job , the way he did it was poor tho. Not too many Well managers do leave to a better job. They just sort of fade away and have to leave. I would think it will be about a three to four year life span for a manager that does relatively well .
  9. Hook , line , and sinker .
  10. Are there any Motherwell managers in the past 40 years you actually rate . Serious question by the way.
  11. With his maws matress no doubt.
  12. Aye but if his house is in Edinburgh that a very big improvement over the last guy
  13. What a game probably in top three best games I've been to in my 50 years following The Well. What an atmosphere first time we sang twist and shout I think and everyone got it perfect. Total inspiration and bit of a surprise result . I wasn't expecting that traveling in on the M74 along side the entitled blue and white hoards if I'm honest. But Ainsworth goal...... Oh my goodness. Still smile when I see it.
  14. Like St Mirren aka wee well. Worked out OK for them.
  15. Only if he likes the feel of plastic on his knees and regular injurys.
  16. Casey if agreeable always gives 100% and scores a few.
  17. Well then he will just love playing on a big fuk off plastic pitch with fans hurling personal abuse at him when he draws the first three games. They thought McInnes tactics were boring ,wow Killie fans are in for a treat.
  18. Burrows helps win Scottish Cup.
  19. The Wolf of Wall Street right enough. 😂
  20. Wow, you seem like a guy that can really be trusted. By the way not everyone thinks like that and it may be normal for you , some folk actually have integrity and do what they say they will do. With the total exception of football of course.
  21. Why would compensation be minimal he was our clubs manager, signed up on a permanent contract, just starting to rebuild the team for a new season. Motherwell FC invested a lot of time , effort and trust into this guy then he is more or less poached to another club. Family problems fair enough but to have a job lined up as soon as he leaves , starting immediately , well that doesn’t happen overnight does it. Stinks a bit. We now have to reorganise all our future plans , the direction the club was going with him and our signing targets . Then start all over again to find a new manager when two of our direct league rivals are doing the same in the same market place.. He's left us in the shit . We should be getting quite a bit of compensation to cover all this I would think. But it is the real world and we are Motherwell after all . So we will probably come out of this looking like a caring ,compassionate and understanding club , which in the cold light of day the whole thing will have cost us a lot.
  22. Saw him in The Rex this evening , just a coincidence ?
