I'm really not worried but either of these rumours, especially Crewe. I don't think Gannon will be leaving us anytime soon.
Heard a few reports tonight that Darren Ferguson has been sacked at Peterborough. If that turns out to be true I think he might well jump to the top of Brighton's list.

If you were to ask any Football Manager if they wanted to sell off their fringe players to free up cash to improve the squad/1st team, every single one of them would say yes. Gannon is no different from any manager in that respect and hasn't named one player he wants rid of, so I don't really see too much wrong with what's been said.

Crap Celtic SHOULD be pumping Motherwell everytime they play them (on paper) - anyone who doesn't see that is fucking diluded. Cweltic have a team of players earning big bucks with the best facilities for training blah blah ETC.
Motherwell have a bunch of young guys on wages of about 250-400 per week training at a fucking rugby park most of the time........doesn't take much to gather the idea from there, and the fact the bookies will always make celtic favourites home and away is thus further proof.
No naw,it's no patronising,it's the truth....what's patronising is that a couple of good results at the start of a season and a lot of motherwell fans think they are worlds beaters.

Just because the Old Firm pay players big money doesn't mean to say that all (or any) of them are actually any good.
Rangers have had Murray Park for years now, and what has it got them? Having the best facilities means fuck all if they aren't properly put to use, the manager/coaches are good enough and the players certainly aren't good enough.
Our facilites up the Dalziel are of a pretty good standard, just because we don't own them or they aren't World class means nothing if the players put the effort in and want to be there. And really when it comes to 3pm on a Saturday where you train (within reason) really means fuck all.
Who said we were World beaters? Is the just because we think we should be competing with the 'Giants of World Football' Celtic and Rangers for 90 minutes? More than realistic.
As for being deluded how about you two wanting to join the Premiership or this fuckin' North Atlantic Sooper Dooper League. Both teams would get pumped on a regular basis. And as for claiming they would compete with the Big 4' after a few years, thats pish as well.
The Old Firm have no divine right to go out and beat anyone, they have to 1) Be good enough and 2) Earn it.
And frankly both teams are nowhere near good enough anymore and half the players look like they don't want to be there anymore.
We've had two 0-0's against both now this season and TBH you'r lot we're the ones holding us to a draw and lucky not to leave Motherwell with a 2 or 3 nil drubbing, not even including the penalty.

Has Dorman actually done anything this season? Totally forgot about him until someone mentioned him in this thread. I reckon there only main threat is McGinn.
If we win tomorrow I'll be biting my nails until Tuesday night thinking (and expecting) that we ain't gonna win both. But under Gannon we have a solid defence which hasn't leaked many goals (plus kept a few clean sheets), plus not conceding late at Celtic with all the late pressure, we've not let in sloppy goals which is very unlike the Motherwell of the last few years. This for me I reckon we can win both - its a new era. An era where we ain't going to see the same fralties we have always had haunting us, time and time again.

I think Chick Young said on the radio a few weeks ago that Dorman had been crap so far this season and had been dropped. Though I think he was back last week and scored.

Dargo is out injured.
He's scored in their last 2 games.
EDIT: Quick spy at their site shows Dargo hasn't missed a league game, started the last 5 games and came on as sub in the other 3. Only game he has missed was as an unused sub against Ayr in the cup.
Mehmet though has scored 8 already this season. 5 in the League Cup v East Stirling and 1 v Ayr. He's got 2 league goals, 1 against Falkirk last week and a penalty against St Johnstone

I think Mehmet is only now starting to resemble a player because he has Craig Dargo upfront with him who does all the running and work for the 2 of them.
Wouldn't have him anywhere near our team.

Though I'd gladly take a point on Saturday and a win on Tuesday.
As long as they don't beat us on Saturday, as that will put them above us in the league, even though it'd only be for a week.
I have a feeling that Tuesday's game will be decided either in extra time or penalties...or maybe even in 90 minutes.

I can't believe people are genuinely worried about this and looking for an official response.
It wouldn't surprise me at all to learn Gannon has a clause allowing him to talk to English teams. After all didn't Sheepmeh have one? I would reckon though it's probabl more something allowing him to talk to Championship and Premiership teams rather than any Englidh team.
