To be honest we cant compare ourselves to England, financially they are in a different world to scottish football, most championship clubs probably pay more in wages than everyone in our league bar Celtic. We will never have the financial resources, so league 1 with some teams, league 2 and conference is where we will shop nowadays for players from England.

We had well over 120 odd applications for the job before McGhee came back and i reckon we'd get a similar number again if he departs, plenty good and available candidates out there, even ones i cant think of at thae moment but its up to the board to make sure they get this decision right. The other alternative we get someone experienced on an interim basis like to steady the ship then look towards the longer term future in the summer with say a guy like Valakari who can dismantle the deadwood and bring in his own guys whilst being supplemented by the talent from Craigans under 20s side.

We could be planning for next season in a sense by having Robinson back and not renewing McGhees contract in the summer, that may mean the next manager comes from within, whether that's Craigan, McFadden or Robinson himself, who knows but it wouldn't surprise me if that was the case.

Its usually McGhee who decides which first team players play for the 20s so id imagine he feels Bowman doesnt need the game time for under 20s.
