Puts some great crosses into the box but don't ask him to defend or go after 50/50 balls as he will shy away from that, his best quality is playing the ball in advanced areas and whipping it in for the strikers. Admittedly he has off days as well and I do think we will sign another winger or 2 this summer to provide more competition there.

I can see a few changes being made for this game, Craigan seemed to hint on his interview after the 20s game yesterday that a few of his boys could be in the squad this weekend.

There are too many people around here engaged in experiments in relativism, embracing poor standards and then claiming exaggerated success against a very low bar. The truth is we are in long term rut going back beyond the current manager and at least a couple of antecedents. With 2 wins in our last 8 against the dregs of the league - Ross County, Partick, Hamilton, Dundee, I think you are straining to see anything different in the future.
I wouldn't mind so much if people were honest and extolled that view that we have a low budget and can't expect to be anything other than mediocre but some of the fawning encomiums about 'a club transformed' show a perception of our season that has no basis in reality....and when reality is ignored it tends to come back and bite you.
It's disappointing to lose matches but I'm a Motherwell supporter and have been for a long time. What really bothers me is the perception of the season as seen through these boards. It's fantasy.
Alan Burrows tweet this morning suggests him and the board are very pleased with the job Robinson has done and the way the season has gone, we will have poor games more often than not but face it we are a small town bottom 6 side with the resources we operate on, need to learn to accept it, There has been a big improvement on the McGhee mess from last season however there's also things that quite rightly we can also still improve on going forward and I believe we will for next season.

James McFadden at the game today doing some radio work for Radio Scotland, he looked quite angry at full time that we hadn't won the game.

Yeah he's doing ok, getting sharper with each game now he's fully fit again, would like to see him pushing for first team before the season is out.

Well Craigan left the likes of Hastie, Gordon, Scott who came on as sub and Agyemang on the bench the other day, I'd imagine we should be ok to get through this game tomorrow, if we win this one then Aberdeen awaits us in the semi final, boys could be in with a chance of potentially another final.

I think its more Robinson probably doesn't rate him, I have liked to see him get a chance but bar his winning goal in the betfred cup in dingwall he's not really featured a great deal since then. Always thought the boy had talent, the 4-3 game with Celtic was a prime example of that when he set up Moult for a goal and his performance that day was very good.

Under 20s I think felt the effects of also having a game on Monday which Craigan alluded to as Dundee utd did as well but Dundee utd players appeared to cope better than ours for 2 games in 3 days.

Robinson was asked on the radio by the reporter on Radio Clyde why did he play with Main up front himself and said which game were you watching, Tanner was up front with him or least was meant to be, Tanner and Cadden were hilariously bad today! Quality of crossing from both is pathetic.

7th place and with the runs we've had in both cups I'd be delighted with that, if we can finish higher than our 9th place finish of last season I view that as progress. We'd probably be a bit higher up if we were not for the disastrous run we had in December. Usually if you get 40+ points you can breathe easy of relegation so 2 more wins would get us there.

We've won 2 out of 2 at Dens park this season, this weekend it becomes 3, Kipre and Campbell should be back involved which will make us stronger and I fully fancy us to secure the 3 points on Saturday.

We've had our card marked since we beat Rangers in the semi final and the public outcry from them and Brendan Rodgers about our physical style, ever since then referees have been on our case desperate to dish out cards for the smallest thing even when they aren't proper fouls half the time.

Totally agree with you there, I certainly hope that's the type of fee we get, would be a huge boost to the coffers and maybe we can then unearth the next Kipre. For now we should enjoy him while we have him.

Kipre has been outstanding recently, ever since Aldred came in actually, he wins headers, tackles and can actually play a bit as well which is unusual for a centre half playing in Scotland! Credit must go to Robinson and our scouting team for being able to spot the potential in him and I feel we are now fully seeing what he brings and at 21 he is only going to get better as well.

I would drop Tanner for this one and bring Bigiramana in just off Ciftci and Main I feel Campbell and McHugh are defensive midfields so we need a bit of creativity in front of them to help create more space for the fron men to utilise.

From what I gather Celtic have been put off by the 750k price tag and have now moved on to other targets, that's good enough for me.

Hope not, Ziggy Gordon was utter pish at Hamilton and even more so at Partick who's fans were delighted to see the back of him, last thing we need is a right sided defender anyway.

Carson, Tanner and Tait for me are our best players right now, Carson picked up a dead leg the other night but should be fine for tomorrow.

Ziggy Gordon was pish at Partick Thistle and accies, plays mostly right back and centre half, both areas of the pitch we currently have better players than him in. He's welcome to return to accies.

Carson should be fit, that Greek keeper is away as that's who's squad number Aldred has taken I believe. Only player that's been mentioned as definitely still out is Frear.

Thankfully Thomson retires after this season, cant come quickly enough to see the back of him.

Thought young Barry Maguire did very well on his senior debut and has a bright future ahead of him, i'd expect to see him get a couple more games before the season is out with a bit of squad rotation after the split.
