Samson is out of contract and wont be back, i was told tonight that Robinson already has keeper lined up to come in.
-
Most likely there to see Dylan Mackin but im sure if the boy Andy Ryan has impressed then he will take a note of him and maybe have him watched more in preparation if we lose any of our strikers.
-
The guy has chosen to start Blyth and Jules so I've not got much faith in his ability to judge a player.
He only played both through necessity with Injuries, guarantee if we didn't have the likes of Tait and McManus injured during the time Robinson has been here Jules wouldn't have had a look in.
Spoke volumes he brought on Ferguson ahead of Jules yesterday.

I believe we are unbeaten against Killie this season with 2 wins and a draw so that might be a good omen for us going into Tuesday night
-
It's no more of a risk then bringing in a manager like say Valakari or John Hughes for example, the squad is rank rotten, most managers would've struggled to do any better than Robinson has done.
-
If Robinson keeps us up which i believe he will then he's earned the right to have a chance of rebuilding the shite left with us by Mark McGhee, Robinson himself has stated this is a big rebuilding job and I can see a major clearout that will also involve McFadden going as well and bringing in his own guys.
In fact i'd go as far as saying I'd trust Robinson to bring in players capable of making us better than McGhee. he did after all play a part in McHugh coming and he's been one of the few success stories this season.

We were involved in a meeting with 13 other clubs at firhill the other week, who are objecting to certain things proposed about Project Brave. Hamilton had been invited to the meeting but declined as apparently project brave is one of their ideas.

Whilst McCall gave us some great times as well fan in the league, i wanted him sacked immediately after the Albion Rovers cup defeat, while we finished 2nd that season some the football we played was fucking murder a lot like this season but we ground out results.
I also believe in my opinion that when he left us he knew fine well he was getting the rangers job and it was hilarious we cost him any chance of getting it long term after pumping them in the play off.
-
He's a deluded fat wank, we would already be relegated if McGhee was still here.
-
Berra is meant to be signing for Hearts, would be a good signing i think if we were losing McManus this summer then we would probably have looked at Berra.
-
Seemed to be more he wasn't physically ready for our 1st team, getting knocked off the ball too easily so i think they viewed QOTS as a way to toughen him up, next season is his last chance saloon to make it with us.

Money is everything in football and the only way to progress we dont have anybody with that sort of money so we will just need to settle for mediocrity, We will just leave it there.
-
As i've said on numerous ocassions on other pages i have no idea what the alternative is to the Well Society if i did i'd have mentioned it by now.
My opinion is there's always someone out there who would take a chance buying the club but were so set on fan ownership that wouldnt bother to even look at it, again thats just my opinion.
-
Well my opinion on it is nothing more than i expect to see a relatively successful team on the park and quite frankly we don't have one, I just dont see any sort of ambition to become a regular top 6 club which in my opinon is where i feel Motherwell should be.
I've had some folk tell me we have the second lowest budget in the league and others tell me that isnt the case, we've signed signed some absolute dross from the depths of English non league clearly not cut out for the top flight, now i'm perfectly aware there's probably not a billionaire out there who would want to come in and buy things but i want us to be able to attract players of the calibre of the Randolphs, Hutchinsons, Higdons etc and be able to make money on while also being successful in the league, thats not happening in my opnion hence our current league predicament.
My general belief is fans will buy into successful clubs if they like what they see on the park and at the moment I certainly don't like nor do a number of other people I know so that's why I have an issue with our current ownership set up.

Aye, things are bad, negative in the extreme at the moment, but, to add lies to the argument helps nobody. Are you implying current club chairman Jim McMahon or as has been suggested Derek Weir is still behind the scenes have no business prowess? That's a corker even from you...
It will never change? We are in a period of change just now, yeah, not setting heather on fire currently, but, we're slap bang in the middle of what was heralded as a five year process that has had more moves than a game of chess to date which advocates what we end up with will differ from what we have now.
A five year process that Les Hutchison fucked off from within 18 months, that to me should be a concern within itself.
I've never bought into or believed the well society can make a success of this, where's the evidence of it? We are sinking quicker than the titanic but hey ho we've just to believe everything is perfect and just get on with things.

Nope end of next season for Robinson. From what i was told Robinson wasnt first choice and the manager we had in mind knocked us back so they panicked and went for Robinson.
But when you have a club with virtually no money, people in control that have no business prowess to improve things then you wont go anywhere, and sadly it will never change unless by some miracle someone with money comes along to takeover the club.
-
Sums it up perfectly with more than half the team playing out of position, nullifying any quality we do have. The deep McDonald role reminds me of the bizarre Craig Moore experiment back in the early days of Baraclough and Robinson.
Robinson was an uninspired appointment by McMahon and Burrows at the time and it's inevitably came back to haunt us. I'd say the players are trying but it's clear as day they don't have faith in the manager. Understandably so.
Oldhams form post Robinson should have ensured he wasn't in the running for a managerial role anytime soon.
Robinson wasn't the boards first choice, from what I gather we had a manager lined up to come in that didn't fancy it in the end so then we turned to Robinson. No manager with any real background will touch us just now, it's simply not an attractive job and we can slate Burrows and the likes on the board but they will have a job for as long as they want until someone comes along and decides they want to takeover the club.

Mannus of St Johnstone i wouldnt be surprised to see replace Samson and a fairly big improvement on Samson as well.
-
If there was the slightest chance we could afford him then he'd be a massive improvement on Samson, realistically Ruddy will find another english club no bother.
-
Because Brown plays for Celtic, McHugh doesnt, Scottish FA panders to Celtic and Rangers every request.
-
Peter Lawwell is on the spfl board, clearly using his authority for the benefit of his club. Scottish football will always pander to the bigot brothers
-
On the basis of some of the players in the championship listed further up on the comments there's a few who could definitely step up and do a job for us. I've also been impressed by the Falkirk left back Luke Leahy who i seem to remember impressed during the play off's last year and can get the odd goal himself. I believe he's out of contract this summer, i reckon could be a better option than Chalmers if we signed him.
-
Stuck with McManus and Hammell next season as McGhee gave them 2 year contracts but i can see the rest of the old contingent leaving or retiring.
-
Blyth is rotten anyway so i wouldnt worry about it, if there's any concern we could just recall Mackin from Alloa and use him off the bench if we need too.

This will be a big summer for McCulloch as well, he will lose all the loan signings Lee Clark brought in as well as lots of others who are out of contract.
Be interesting to see what signings he makes, that will really determine whether or not Killie will be in a relegation scrap next season.
