  1. The confusion arose though because there was no confirmation of a concussion sub being used, even BBC text only had it down as an injury when Hayes was subbed. So unless we had access to the game, there was no way to tell. Then you add the ability of our club to muck things up, anything is possible.
  2. Yea, just checked on that, looks to be correct. Phew!!
  3. BBC showing 6, Lamie does show as subbed due to an injury but doesn't say a head knock
  4. Please say you mistyped, only allowed 5, unless there's been a head knock
  5. Raith have come back from a goal down to lead Arbroath 2-1... think we'll struggle next week
  6. No faith in that lineup, I am hoping it's injuries that have dictated the defence line up and not the tombola machine. Would still have had McKinstry and Crankshaw starting though
  7. Alan Burrows @Alan_Burrows · 1m Announcements for tonight are done folks (so you can head to bed), but we’ve got a bit more to do, which, all going well, will come tomorrow.
  8. Apparently we are even thinking about swapsies for the keeper position
  9. Confirmed on a permanent deal for the rest of the season, this was a free transfer https://www.motherwellfc.co.uk/2023/01/31/jack-aitchison-joins-from-barnsley/
  10. He was the next big thing to come through Celtic's academy when he scored against us on his debut and first touch against us in 2016 in some heavy rout we took. He was 16 at the time Currently at Barnsley but been loaned out to Stevenage abd Forest Green the last couple of seasons
  11. Just seen this on twitter, if it happens we're in the Champions League (League stage) in a couple of years.... at least that's what happened after I signed him in FM ... Motherwell are rumoured to be interested in a move for former Celtic academy prospect and current Barnsley forward Jack Aitchison. Just a rumour at this stage...
  12. BBC better not b joking at this time of night Posted at 22:5022:50 Post update It's all gone very quiet. We know Kilmarnock, Dundee United, and Motherwell are actively looking to bring players in before the deadline at midnight. Don't disappear yet...
  13. Suppose the only good thing now is if someone is coming in, then it's going to be a surprise. After all everyone else we have been linked with has been snapped up today.
  14. Alan Burrows @Alan_Burrows · 2m Replying to @leadier88 and @MotherwellFC All going well - We’ve got some things to announce my friend (some might come after the window shuts too). Obviously can’t comment on anything until it’s done…
  15. https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/10150200/dundee-united-sheffield-wednesday-deadline-celtic-stephen-welsh/?utm_medium=Social&utm_campaign=ScottishSunSportTwitter&utm_source=Twitter#Echobox=1675199737-1 Sheffield Wednesday now told No.
  16. Just taking the info from the BBC Website, so no offence taken Celtic reject Welsh bid We can tell you Dundee United made an approach to take Celtic centre-back Stephen Welsh on loan as they look to bolster their options at right centre-back. However, Celtic are not letting him go anywhere.
  17. Apparently Utd enquired about Welsh and was told he was going nowhere
  18. When Dundee can get a loan in from Brighton, you do wonder. Especially as we can't get from lower leagues
  19. At this rate Hammy and Kerr will need to register themselves to go at least make it look like we have some depth in this squad. The fear is now setting in that this is indeed our season to go down. How unlucky have we been 3 attacking players signed and not one of them has managed more than a game and a bit before being injured. McGinley, Carroll and Bevis also out at the other end. WIth Sol and Shields gone we need at least 4 players still. 2 to replace them and 2 at least to give us a chance of getting out of this mess.
  20. So tempted to reply to that... but it wouldn't be PC, so I'll behave myself.
  21. So that's Moult and Aarons replaced. Hopefully more to come
  22. Who complained about the travel involved to get to training... and that's all I remember him for..
  23. I have heard the Cumbernauld Striker has rejected the contract offer, as he can get Barr's bottles anytime he wants, without having to work for them. He was happy with the bag of peanuts for each goal he scored but couldn't believe we didn't pay in empty Pepsi bottles.
  24. I know that but the results today don't help. We could have moved a little further clear of Utd and closer to St Johnstone. today. The fact that the reverse has happened makes it a real bad day. Time to roll out our "saviour signings" this month
