Who knows what is going on behind the scenes but it was clear for all to see in the summer that the club lacks direction. I've always been a doubter with regards the 'well society and little has happened to change my mind. On the park we are heading for a crunch time with McCall and the majority of the team entering the last 9 months of their contracts. Meanwhile, prior to JJs arrival the youth setup was getting questioned from certain quarters...
  2. Hammell looked injured at Ibrox, seems to have been struggling since pre-season with knocks and strains. ZFA was fun to watch today but he reminds me of Gary Neville's description of David Luiz. If he were to continue at left back just now I reckon he'd be heading for a nightmare of Adam Cummins proportions. I wouldn't be averse to him playing in front of Hammell though.

Brown didn't even spot Randolph. He was a recommendation from Christian Dailly. I struggle to fathom why we haven't received a bid for him.
  4. Just to be clear, my hunch that McCall will not sign a new contract is nothing to do with the past week. I just have my doubts that he'll have the desire or ability to build a squad from scratch in the summer. After getting his fingers burnt at Bradford, I think he'll know when it's time to move on. There is money to replace Jennings, sadly we missed out on any decent signings due to a lack of planning while the sevco saga unfolded.
  5. Worst thing about today for me personally was that I came away not too fussed. I sense a change in regime is not too far away... Tactics were a mile out. Higdon on his own against a questionable defence. Lasley the heartbeat of the team, playing ahead of the ball and man marking Wanyama!? As has been the story all season, the midfield was wide open. Jennings is currently being replaced by a big patch of grass. Felt for the lad Cummins, he's a good prospect but is nowhere near ready to play week in week out. He should have been pulled out the team after Dundee and McCalls failure to do so has had a detrimental effect on Hutchison. Positives for today were the performances of Randolph and Francis -Angol. Like Cummins the young left back is a good raw talent that isn't ready to play regularly but done himself proud today.
  6. Dempster would have fucked off as well by now.
  7. When the Board feels the need to issue a hashed statement before the game, there should be an apology to the travelling fans today. Fed up with years of inept performances being swept under the carpet.
  8. Poor show from Motherwell not issuing a statement today. Have we just to accept Andrew Wilson's tweet of 'Well done Rangers. Lessons to be learned....'
  9. Craigan hinted at it the other night. Clearly not rated by McCall.
  10. I personally love challenging for a European spot and then listen to the club telling us that we don't have a hope in hell in progressing. Team for Saturday: Randolph, Hutchinson, Higdon and 8 reserves.
  11. Given the troubles Kerr and Cummins have had in the last 3 games, you have to wonder why Ramsden has never came on. Taking Hateley off rather than moving him to right back was a strange one too.
  12. Nothing will make up for lying down to Rangers. We have every right to be ashamed of certain elements of the club and sitting top of the SPL won't change that.
  13. Seen this coming since the draw was made but my guts are still churning. Disgusted.
  14. h*n sympathising shitebags. Just glad I wasn't talked I to going. Club really needs to address our mentality.
  15. Playing against a bunch of excited school kids at time. If we can show some composure and get a grip of the midfield, we should be ripping the pish.
  16. We are still fuckin feart of them...
  17. Feel sorry for those with the trip home. Scunnered to fuck.
  18. Fuck off, we should have been out of sight. Shite defending but Humphrey gave away possession softly 3 times in injury time. Sickener.
  19. He's been a liability today. Hopefully see Hateley at right back in the 2nd half.
  20. I think he's been fantastic. Wasteful at times but a real live wire and is setting a tempo that Aberdeen are struggling to handle.
  21. Terrible goal to lose, reminiscent of our preseason defending.
  22. I'm in the minority with this one. I've been to Ibrox more than any other ground and not seen us win there since Dougie's double in 93. I fail to have any appetite for this game next week tho. Just completely disgusted that they still exist and have no interest in heading along to have a dig at them. The McCall factor doesn't help either.
