  1. Disappointed about Mark, he could play at centre half, sit in front of the back 4 and was good coming forward.  Don't blame the guy, the horses arse of a manager wouldn't know a midfielder if he tripped over one...he picks that hammer thrower Donnelly every week.

Saying we are signing a player, it’s Watergate all over again!!!!!!

    Lighten the fuck up.

Nothing wrong with my mood, just prefer a bit more professionalism from a someone who holds this rank...

Burrows saying hopefully at least 1 signing before weekend and another 2 before deadline so that is definitely hopeful .

Why does Burrows feel the need to share the club's future business plans on Twitter??  I don't see other CEOs of SPFL clubs doing this...

Sorry, I'm struggling to see any positives.

If there's player power in action, how are we gonnae fix that? They've seen Robinson off, Lasley was gone in 90 minutes, now Alexander's struggling.

If - and it beggars belief - everything's rosy, we're dealing with an entire team of injured/ill players (half of whom we've no real clue when they'll return), another team that's clearly not up to the job and a bunch of January signings, who are either dross or MIA. There's nothing to suggest any of our 'problem' players are likely to suddenly find new form or attitudes at this late stage, and there's nowhere left to turn.

Same with the manager. Alexander only needs to keep us up, no one expects anymore now, but we don't expect anything less either. If some of the squad, especially the ones we really need, aren't performing for him, he's screwed. And if he persists with tactics that are getting us hammered, there will be questions about his future very soon. Whatever the situation, it's his job to find a way to survive.

Worst thing is, we have zero influence over this. We're sitting at home watching a disaster unfolding and no amount of positivity or negativity on our part will make the slightest difference.

Great post.  Yep, we are sitting in our houses not being able to do anything whilst we are relying on other teams to be worse than us.

I'm also pissed off with the constant Twitter shite pumped out, or pictures celebrating people's birthday or videos of x player doing something irrelevant.  Honestly fuck that sky high.  I would rather we just kept our heads down and got a group of guys together, banged their heads together and told them how it was.  I guess this is what GA has tried to do which is why toys are out the pram.  The players will have to accept their wee pal Robbo isn't coming back and if I were Burrows I'd also keep my head down, keep off Twitter trying to be every players pal and start figuring out the roadmap for the way ahead.

Why were Celtic allowed to have a Representative at a closed door game?

It's a Celtic scout, no doubt looking through the bins at Fir Park for his dinner and watching the game over the wall from the houses up the Fir Park Street..puddle drinking vermin.

You know the £1.5m bid is incoming with Lawwell doing an impression of a dodgy East End mechanic sucking in his breath, rubbing his chin and mentioning a 'risk' about a knee and some pandemic...

I'm going to assume this was drawn up a while ago and they've sent it out already, it's just a billboard so shouldn't be taken as any grand sign.

Lang in and Turnbull out but not until late September and I think our activity is done. Maybe a left back on loan if Carroll isn't recovering the way we hope. Also Dunne won't kick a ball for us again.

You are aware we have signed not one  but two guys who can play at left back?  Lamie at a push and McGinley who should be first choice at that position.

  7. Yeah, I would be surprised if he ended up anywhere but Smellic.  At least the other interest will hopefully drive the price up, rather than the piss poor  £1m they would no doubt have offered the wee diddy team expecting us to roll over.

Well, it is his "dream move" remember. According to the rags, anyway.

Badly needing a striker...any on their way in?

Chillax, I can see us picking up a young Premiership reserve with decent talent on loan.  Given 3rd place football and Europe it's great experience for a team to toughen him up a bit and stretch his legs...watch this space.  (the one between my ears).

  9. Bizarrely I have a signed shirt from the same time period as worn by Serbian legend and all round heedbanger Sasa Curcic.

Goram had a super annoying habit of signing his name in the middle, the flying pig bigot.

  10. Robbo is a burst flush, other managers see through him now and can tactically out think him.  Allied with poor recruitment in the summer bar Polworth and Gallagher.  As for Carroll, he's no loss for me, he constantly turned back the way whenever on the ball and it just shows we should have been scouring the lower leagues North and South to have a decent you left back to provide cover as Taity is not the answer and gets slated.  He is a solid right back and being hung out to dry.

Only a returning Turnbull can save the Euro dream....no pressure (but also sign a contract extension or we'll end up with the derisory £1m for the risk Smellic are taking on him)

On the BBC website that Moult is out for the season :(

Gutted for Moulty, he has indeed done his cruciate,   it's all turned to shit since he left.  A brilliant guy and he had a chance to push on this season for a run in the team under that mutant Neil.  Maybe get to see him back in C& A one day...

  12. Also interesting to hear the manager basically throw his players to the wolves for the second game running.  After Celtic he named them outright.

Robbo needs to take responsibility here,. He trains and coaches them and picks the team.   Calling out players isn't the answer.

  13. One of the worst displays in many a year.  It's down to Robinson who is clueless.  We lucked out last year when he ran out of ideas and gave Turnbull a run and the rest was history.  Not replacing Gorrin will cost up big time. Polworth is too lazy and drifts out a game and Campbell is getting overrun.  As for Donnelly....naaa you're alright. Up front nothingof note, Scott is nowhere near first team yet and needs a wise head to learn from. Long offers nothing and the wingers have bursts of pace but no technical skills to beat a man.  10th place for us..have ninth, but there is genuinely no creative force on that team currently.

The annoying thing is if we had played it right there could have been a proper bidding war.

Now all that happens is the player's terms improve with each offer and we get nowt more.

This lies at the door of the door of the Boardroom.  If they'd had the courage to hold out who knows what we could have got.  The window is hardly open.  However we will move on and now look to see who will try and shaft us now they know we have the cash....
