  1. The refereeing aside, we were utterly shite yesterday. Samson had 3 great saves to keep the scoreline down. I cannot understand why we opted for the big punt up the channel for 90 mins and it didn't work. Rumour has it Ainsworth was playing yesterday, but I honestly never saw him make a run or move once. Fuck to Get...

The only time we created a chance was when we put it on the deck and played Clay (who was was the only one trying) in to setup two chances. Dundee are piss poor and when Tom Hateley looks better than any of our midfield, questions must be asked.

Got to say after 3 seasons Dom Thomas still doesn't look a player. I would either get him on-loan in January or cut him, never shown the promise he showed early on.

Also McMillan should be starting every week at left back. Love Hammell, but it's time for the old guard to step back. Big hand to Motherwell for giving Hammell a 2 year deal. FFS

  2. Didn't go tonight, dodged a bullet here. McGhee trying to play the same attacking style he had with Ports, Clarky, McCormack and it doesn't work. I was there at the open nights and heard him refer to this style of play and that's what he wanted, but Moulty, McDonald and Bowman are not the answer in that style with the current midfield behind them.

Plus Gammy Hammy on a 2 year deal. I love the guy, but it was evident he was now injury prone and this is borne out. You also have zero cover left CH if you drop Mick (from a great height ideally) as he is first on the team sheet these days.

Is Faddy the ideal No.2 for the dark days we are facing? Time will tell.

I am keeping the faith, it's early doors, but the marker is always after you've played each other once...I am going for 7th this year, we will hit a purple patch, but too many results like tonight in a difficult season.

  3. Tweet from Burrows to suggest there is potential movement.

Anyone else feel that the COO of a Premiership club shouldn't really be discussing it's business on a personal twitter feed? I feel it's just a wee bit unprofessional. No disrespect to AB, just think he shouldn't comment on club affairs like transfers.

  4.

The rest of your points I can't really argue in any way, but this one I don't understand. Why can't we be self-sustainable? Surely we have to be self-sustainable, regardless of who owns the club?

It's quite simple with revenues and current player wages in the SPFL it will be hard to have a competitive team and balance the books. We can do it, but it will mean losing key players, imposing a very tight wages structure and perhaps dropping down a division to come back up.

I agree with Lobey, and feel the club are now rudderless in terms of an experienced leadership team after recent departures. I have serious fears for the future and would not be surprised if we are courting administration within 12 months unless we get a player sales cash injection.

  5. Great post dennyc, clear and the type of information we are looking for. Yes, an easy total of membership and transparency on the current total of funds would help all concerned.

A fan ownership model is a hard thing to pull off. Combine this with:

    a) A low fan base of regular working class joes from the surrounding area, are they going to pay season ticket and subs equalling £100-£200 onto top?

    b) A mediocre product on the park

    c) the lacklustre poorly run committee who find it hard to come up with a dynamic and cohesive strategy, or answers at a meeting of fans for that matter.

I have my doubts if Les will get all his money back, it's up to him if he sees some return he might just cut his losses and slip quietly away.

Also am I not right in thinking he holds onto the ground if it all goes tits up?

  6. Seems thankfully what I heard was shite. The days not over or even the season for that matter, but it does seem unlikely.

Sorry for being an overreacting prick, but when I heard that I felt duty bound to say something. Please carry on (abusing Mark McGhee, various playing staff, each other) as normal.

  7. Can someone please tell Mark McGhee that we cannot play in the same formation as Leicester City as we don't have the same quality of players. What a ringpiece he is for not spotting we needed to revert back to the formation with Moult and 2 wingers when we were chasing the game.

I am a Muttley fan, but fuck me if he's not a biligerant prick who is costing us a decent cup run by adapting to try and nullify ICT instead of playing a system the players were familiar with.

  8. A player I would take back in a heartbeat...Lee Erwin, here's what Steve 'Pie Muncher' Evans had to say last week

'Evans told the BBC: “Lee needs to get fitter. He can either get fitter or go to Scotland but the nice thing is he’s working hard at Thorp Arch.

“When we get him where we want - which is only where he was at Motherwell. Someone here let him go out of control – he’ll have a future at Leeds United, I’m sure.”'

Get him back up here for half a season, imagine him with Moulty and a McDonald, what a forward line!!

  9. For me it's a strange one. Basically someone (Les) front the money but has security over the assets which far outweights the commitments he's made. So he either gets his money back or worst case scenario a nice bit of Motherwell prize real estate.

The fans are the ones who will FOREVER be dipping into their pockets to keep an unbalanced ship afloat. Even if we get ownership and it's a very big if do you seriously think for one minute that the WS will just turn around and say good news guys cancel those direct debits and get on as business as usual...not likely.

Along with your season ticket, merch and refreshments we would also be putting our hands in our pockets to keep the club running.

We talk about cup runs, selling players etc, but how realistic is it we sell the next Faddy or have a decent cup run each year?

In that case the retake should have been re-taken as players from both sides encroached.

Na mate, you are dead wrong, I have freeze framed both and the second one was about half a yard if that, in real time barely visible. The first was defo retake, no argument. Ref is still a bias arsehole though, no question.

A small thing...but to nip it in the bud. The football committee are doing the the interviews and not Flow for this. Seems you are implying Flow is involved in the decision making on this.

What makes you so sure 'Flow isn't involved in the process?

  12. Jumping fuck, Pressley is a total wank, a Jambo wank at that. Personally I'd like McGhee back. Given the monumental fuck up with Baraclown, I reckon Les will play it safe. Plenty of fag ends floating about the pish of scottish football, here's hoping we get someone decent.

  13. Knowing us we might get Terry the Butcher back, God forbid. Be happy with Crags tbh until the end of the season. Longer term, Mixup would be a good shout. With Crags though we'd be lumbered with Robinson - he was part architect in the current shambles and should be moved on with Barabawbag.

  14. A several games back I was given abuse for voting with my feet and not attending games, called disloyal, not a true fan as I said I wouldn't go back while Barraclown was there. I was saw the writing on the wall, so fuck those posters giving me abuse...

Anyway. Barraclown deserves a new title of Barracunt....please fuck off out of my club and take your lackies with you.
