I have every faith in those in charge of our club and they will be more aware than any of us about the current pandemic and it’s financial implications. As OTF says if they haven’t divulged details of our current financial planning then there will be good reason for that.

Everyone has a right to do as they wish and I quite understand those who can't afford to renew or those like yourself who want to hold off to end sure you get a product for your cash. However you are saying above that the club should not be giving those who want to renew just now the opportunity to do so, and by implication those who want to renew should not be allowed to do so. As long as fans are not been hoodwinked or deliberately deceived and are not forced or coerced then it’s not ridiculous for those who can to renew. I’ll be renewing shortly in the full knowledge that I have no idea when football will resume. Those who are renewing are doing so to help the club. Each to their own.

Now whilst you might think that its stating the obvious, it does imply that he's not entirely happy with his fringe players. All managers get some transfers right and some wrong thats part and parcel of the job. We do have some very good players in the squad eg Gillespie, Gallagher, Campbell, Polworth, Turnbull etc. but irrespctive of where we are in the league (3rd is very acceptable indeed and well above our historic average) there should always be room for improvement.
