  1. Why? A Facebook page isn't going to carry entire articles, is it? It would be used to announce when new issues are due, asking for some contributions and suchlike.
  2. A few questions if you don't mind mate; 1. Where is this fanzine advertised? I've seen it mentioned on here when a new issue is due, but nowhere else. 2. Why haven't you at least got a Facebook page up & running for it? It's free, and would raise awareness. You'd have a potential audience of hundreds who will know when a new issue is due, and also a chance to advertise for some new articles from new writers.
  3. Be under no illusion, if we do move it'll be to a stadium similar to the ones that other Scottish clubs our size have. If given the choice I'd rather we patched up the current stadium. It holds a lot of history, having housed the club for almost 120 years. Leaving all that behind for some half-arsed flatpack stadium that'll likely be named after a fucking supermarket or something is not a decision to be taken lightly. If we have to spend money on either a move or a renovation job on two of our stands I know what I'd prefer.
  4. I thought they could have organised the stadium tours a bit better. There was a huge queue of people who thought it was the line to actually go on the tours, but you were supposed to give your name and get allocated a time slot apparently? I waited in said line for 20 odd minutes then fucked off. Got a few items scanned in for the memorabilia thing, but I thought the event was terribly run if I'm being honest.
  5. Is there an actual Facebook page for the fanzine?
  6. To provide enough power & lighting to evacuate the stadium safely.
  7. It didn't fail, it just doesn't produce enough power to maintain the entire stadium.
  8. According to the club themselves the backup generator doesn't produce enough power to maintain the game, only to power the emergency lights etc. Smoke was the generator kicking in.
  9. Apparently a power failure outside the stadium is responsible?
  10. Even if the online format isn't appealing, you maybe ought to at least get a basic website & Facebook page up and running for it? Then more people would be aware of it, and more would buy it online (all you need is a paypal account) and possibly at the stadium as well. Awareness is the key. With Facebook being free I find it astounding that any business or enterprise wouldn't make use of it.
  11. This is ultimately the way forward I think. A simple PDF version of the fanzine, emailed to those who make a purchase via paypal. It would also open up the potential audience a lot more.
  12. It would take a brave man to bet against Higdon getting a goal on Saturday.
  13. Indeed he is. The loss of Jennings is hitting the team a lot harder than most thought it would. Lasley isn't the same player without him alongside him. I seem to remember the same thing being said of Jennings last season when Keith was suspended. It was a great combination, and one that we may not be able to replicate regardless of who we bring in to play in that position.
  14. Has there been any whispers about what McFadden is actually looking for? There must be a reason why there isn't any English teams prepared to offer him a deal until the end of the season.
  15. I'll give you the first two on recent form, but Ojamaa? If more players gave his effort and had his belief we might not be seeing everyone go mental over our current record against the Old Firm.

Yeah, I don't see much wrong with his Tweets to be honest.

    Andrew Wilson. After the Rangers game he tweeted; And after the Celtic game;

You honestly don't see us taking at least one win from two home games against Dundee United or Hibs?
  19. He's my favourite Motherwell player at present. Exciting to watch, and even though he's a bit greedy at times he's always looking for the ball, and always looking to score. Doesn't seem to suffer from a lack of confidence either, which is good to see.
  20. Any finances we have should be used to sort out our central midfield in my opinion. That is a priority.
  21. I'm not sure why, but if you had come to me at the end of July saying that McFadden could be signing for us again I'd have been over the moon. Now I don't actually want him.
  22. Spot on. A replacement for Jennings should be top of the priority list.
  23. I don't think I've met any Motherwell fan who wasn't disappointed in the performances today or during the week. McCall has addressed that during his interviews, saying that we were found wanting on more than one occasion. What is out of order is the sheer fury of the fans towards him, especially as far as his connection with Rangers goes. We've been losing badly to both Old Firm clubs long before he was appointed manager.
