The fact we haven't lost anyone is kind of bittersweet. I'm not sure if losing a player in the summer is better than losing one in January, but it always feels that way.
Maybe it's the fact that there always seems to be more players kicking about that are looking for clubs in the summer.
You seem very sure that he stormed off up the tunnel "in the huff". I'd like to think that had he been throwing a hissy fit McCall wouldn't be long in straightening him out.
I'd wager that any storming around that he does is more frustration and disappointment in his own performance. He's the kind of player who looks as though he busts a gut to win every game, even to the point of trying to win games on his own.
He's young, and he'll learn how the game works, but I'm happy to see a Motherwell player storming up that tunnel raging at losing a game.
Well, he should go and sign for a team that can offer him that kind of money then instead of hanging around Fir Park using the facilities to get into shape.
I know it may not prove popular with the Faddy fanboys out there, but if he has no intention of signing with our club then he should move on and secure a big money move elsewhere. As someone said, if he uses our facilities to get into shape then fucks off to Aberdeen, Hibs or Hearts he should be declared persona non grata at Fir Park.
Of course it doesn't mean you absolutely are using it for commercial purposes, but if you were going to take photos to sell the chances are you'd be using a quality DSLR.
The same thing happened last season after he came on as a sub and hit the net against Aberdeen. You're right, our young players need to see that putting in a performance will get them at least a chance to show what they can do from the start.
As for Aangol, from what I hear he's been pretty decent.
Considering we have two home games against Inverness & St Mirren coming up we have a chance to get some points on the board.
An excellent performance from what I heard today. Nice one.
I'll tell you what, MJC, how about if McFadden signs for us you leave this forum for good?
I mean, if you're so sure that he won't put pen to paper then you'll have no issue with such a condition, eh?
You said Jenning's would be "demanding" a first-team place every week, didn't you? That's blatantly not true at all though, is it?
He'll come into the squad and do his best to get picked every week. As for you "probably knowing more about League one than me", you do understand that such chat just makes you sound like a Grade A tit?
From what I've seen there are a few forum members who believe he's good enough to get into Coventry's starting 11, which is their opinion. It has nothing to do with being blinkered (although the idea of you saying that about anyone else on this forum is laughable).
Get a grip.
What are you bumping your gums about man? Jennings isn't "demanding" anything, is he? He's moved on to another club, was a good servant of Motherwell while he was here. Good luck, all the best and so on.
