  1. I personally think Forbes is a good player, but the problem is he simply isn't getting into our midfield at present. Who does he replace? I'd be happy to see him go out on loan for a while, then once one of our midfielders moves on or whatever he should be given a chance to prove he's up to the job. A chance that should involve being given more than 45 minutes or one game to prove himself. A player needs a run of games to get into his stride, and I think Forbes should be given that eventually.
  2. Although I'd personally bring in Ojamaa to replace Murphy I have a feeling that McCall will drop Daley. I guess that Murphy is capable of coming up with something special, so it may be a decent move.
  3. He would maybe have been better served to keep his "reaction" for his next goal at Fir Park though. The away support has been pretty supportive of both him & the team in general, no?
  4. Today's game? No. However I have been to games over the past few years, and have seen Craigan start to deteriorate over that period. It happens. It takes a certain kind of player to be able to continue playing at SPL level when they get to 36, and I'm afraid Craigan isn't that kind of player. He's painfully slow for a start, and opposition managers know it. I've seen numerous forwards turn him easily. Look, I'm a fan of Craigan. He's been a superb servant to the club, and if he was signing on as a coach or something like that I'd be 100% behind the move. But he isn't. The time has come for him to step aside and allow someone younger to come in.
  5. The first of our games in hand takes place this Tuesday. After his performance today against Dundee United surely Ojamaa is due a starting slot? Likely at the expense of either Daley or Murphy. I'd go with him replacing Murphy. Apart from that, same team as today.
  6. We needed another forward to add another option to our striking department. We've got that, and he played really well when he came on today from what I've heard. Job done. No more signings needed.
  7. Apparently we've just been denied a stonewaller?
  8. According to the radio both Daley & Murphy have been pretty ineffective.
  9. I'm a fan of Craigan, but it's obvious that he's slipping now. He probably should have called it a day after the final last season, but decided to continue. He should call it a day after this season.
  10. I see we've started with pretty much the same lineup that started against Inverness, with Jennings back in of course. Let's hope we see a better performance.

It could simply mean that he's going to be heading down south "soon" for a break or whatever. He's under contract so unless we get a decent offer I doubt he'll be sold in the January window.

Maybe the stewards should be doing their jobs and telling these idiots who are going over the top to either simmer down or throw them out.
  13. Is anyone else only getting the interview audio through one speaker?
  14. This one sentence pretty much sums up the situation perfectly in my opinion. Any sane Motherwell fan won't be asking if McCall is due for the boot, and would be more interested in seeing how he overcomes the latest hurdle. He's done a sterling job thus far, so there's no reason to doubt he can't get us through this as well.
  15. Considering our form at the moment I think that a point from Tannadice will do just fine.
  16. Okay, you've been placed in charge of transfers going out during the January window. Going through the first team squad who would you stick on the transfer list and why?
  17. He's already said he'd rather they were a bit more positive in their support for the team.
  18. Has it occured to you that his wee flicks into space are what McCall wants him to do, and what they practice on the training ground? I'm not saying that it's working, as it's obviously not, but I pretty much guarantee you that the big man is only doing what the management team want him to do.
  19. How many other clubs have had their players arguing with fans in the crowd, and a player even trying to get into the stand to confront a fan? We've also had players asking fans of their own club to lay off their top goalscorer! We may not be the very worst, but we're certainly not far off it. Listening to the shite from the East stand I maybe understand why we play better away from home.
  20. I haven't. That doesn't mean it hasn't happened though, does it? Look at the facts, Jim. We're sitting fourth in the table ahead of clubs who have larger crowds and more money than we do, and have competed with those clubs for the past few seasons now. I understand that performances haven't been great at Fir Park. I've been there, just like everyone else. That doesn't excuse the abuse that's been dished out to our players. It's a fucking disgrace and and isn't even befitting of a club who are sitting rooted to the bottom of the table.
  21. I guess the abuse is matched by that at places like Pittodrie & Easter Road this season. The difference between their season and ours is there for all to see however...
