To a certain degree I can understand the whole idea of wanting to put across the idea of being Scottish to both Old Firm clubs, who take pride in flying virtually every flag except the Scottish one, but the idea of a Union Jack makes me sick.

As far as the Union Jack goes, I've always wondered, if you feel the need to bring a national flag with you, why not bring a Saltire?

I doubt Page will start. I fully expect our back four will be Hateley, Clancy, Craigan and Hammell. Personally i'd like to see Page given the opportunity to step up, but I don't think he will be.
Unfortunately I have to agree. I would like to see Page given the opportunity to step up and prove he's worth a spot.

The simple answer to this is to boycott games at Celtic & Rangers. Why waste your money when you could simply use the money to attend a Motherwell home game, or if you have a season ticket, give the money to a mate to attend a Motherwell home game, or buy something from the club shop?
I wouldn't spend any of my money in either of those grounds.

I'd have him back. He's a good player, as he proved for us last season.

In short, what the general consensus is that we'd like to see our team at least try to win a bit more against the old firm, but we don't really expect to beat them. That sounds fair enough.
Once we start losing regularly to the likes of Hearts, Hibs, Aberdeen & Dundee United we can get worried.

GD wiped out as feared but this is actually small news compared to Hutchinson apparently on crutches. Talk of cruciate ligament damage. Disaster.

Right, the best way to get over a poor display and hammering by one half of the old firm is to immediately look forward to the next game.
We still sit third in the SPL table, with a healthy four point lead over our nearest rivals (even if they have a game in hand) so it's not all bad news.
How do we go about business next Saturday? Hopefully we'll see us back to our attacking best, and we may even have Omar available if his paperwork is sorted out in time.
Let's get back on track!

I'm not bothered by the results in these games, as we don't expect to win, I'm more bothered by the way we go about playing against the Old Firm.

This result won't affect our season, however I'm annoyed at paying £26 to watch such a gutless performance against the old firm
It's this part which bothers me the most. We never expect to take anything away from the Old Firm, but when punters are paying up that kind of money, not including travel and suchlike, the least they can expect is their team to go out there and give it a go.

I don't think anyone really expected us to be winning the game, but a few of us would like to have seen us at least go into the game looking to compete. We've done nothing of the sort today, and look as though we could play until midnight and not even get close to scoring.
Hopefully the 2nd half sees a change in our approach, even if it's just for the poor sods who paid good money to watch the game.

You think it looks as though Celtic have stepped up their game here? It looks to me as though they've been cruising since the first whistle.
We've caused them virtually no problems at all.
