  1. Same here. The Accies game will be next for me.
  2. The problem is, the club does reduce prices, but only for a game or so at a time. We need to be prepared to put a deal in place where home fans get in for a reduced price, and keep it running for a decent amount of time to see what kind of results it brings. I paid £18 to see the game today, and I was happy with the result, but there are many weeks that I simply can't afford to go.

    Club Shop

Any idea if the design change on the away top with regards to the sponsor will be applied to new batches of the home shirt?
  4. I'll go for a solid performance and a 2-1 or a 2-0 win. The Kilmarnock performance has given me some fresh optimism.

    Next Meeting

What was the result of the meeting? Any progress?
  6. It's not the greatest of draws, but the Inverness game is all i'm thinking about just now. We may not have to worry about Kilmarnock/Falkirk.
  7. This kind of thing happens to clubs all over Europe all the time, so why should we be any different? In fact, i'm fairly certain that there have been instances of us doing exactly the same thing to smaller clubs as well. Like someone said, if he moves to Celtic, he'll likely get a bonus for signing, plus more wages than he'll get from us. I can't see where he's being badly advised there.
  8. I thought a thread for general questions would be quite useful. The first port of call for any questions should obviously be the Trust website, which, although currently a work in progress, provides a good idea of what the Trust does and who's involved. Anything which isn't answered there can hopefully be answered in this thread.
  9. He always seemed to be a decent enough keeper to me. I reckon he'd probably prefer sitting on the 'Well bench to playing in the lower divisions as well.
  10. What happened to that keeper who was playing for Accies a few seasons ago? McEwan, was it? He looked pretty decent, and he wasn't all that old either.
  11. I'd rather we kept Brown than appointed MacPherson.

    Game Off

Can you point me to the bit where I made any reference to anything that you said? I was taking a jovial wee dig at Joe. I like your comment about MST "cheerleaders" though.
  13. Things are that tight at both ends of the table that a few wins could see us push back up the table again. I've got every faith that an experienced duo such as Brown & Knox can turn things around over the coming few months.

    Game Off

It may have one again shortly. It's been suggested in the relevant section of the forum, and hopefully it'll get the green light shortly. At least then Joe and co. will have somewhere to post reports of their cushy corporate matchdays and private drinking sessions with the chairman

    Hamilton Game

A win is sorely needed just now, and it's always a bit more special to get three points against Accies.

    Hamilton Game

The full 90 minutes of the game will be shown on BBC Alba on Saturday night. Still, it's the kind of game you really want to be at.

    Hypocritical

I wonder what kind of legal stuff he may be looking into. If he hasn't signed a contract with the club, and didn't sign the deal that was offered to him, then what claim does he have?

    Catering

No one is "forcing" anything onto anyone. It's simply a matter of having an alternative to the unhealthy shite they serve there at present. If you don't want to buy the healthy option, then stick with the pies.
  19. And those guys were fans of Celtic or Rangers before that? I've never known anyone in their late teens to switch alliances from either of the OF to Motherwell, with the exception of the old "ach, i'll go and watch them now and then since it's cheap this week and they are my wee local team" carry-on.

    Herts Away

More than likely with the aim of catching us when we are ever so slightly out of sorts.
  21. He always struck me as the ideal candidate for club captain, as he seems pretty well spoken, and has the "long serving veteran" status as well. Reynolds would be another good choice, unless rumours of him leaving soon are true.
