If we want to try an entice children to support Motherwell instead of the Old Firm we really should be letting a number of under 16's in for free every home game. Those seats just sit empty otherwise.

The only way such a boycott would work would be if the majority of fans from all SPL clubs took part. A weekend with no fans at any games would draw the attention of the media, that's for sure.

I doubt it would have to be honest. If anyone was seriously considering going to the game they would have done. It was a nice little money earner for the club though. A lot of the fans who attended would most likely have sat at home and watched it otherwise.

I certainly wouldn't fancy hauling my arse all the way into Edinburgh, that's for sure.

Did anyone else from the board attend this? I did, and thought it was an excellent day out. The place was pretty full and there was a good atmosphere. The free pies went down a treat as well.

I see no reason why we shouldn't still have Sutton next season, as he's already indicated that he's keen to stay. I also think Jennings will be off in the summer, probably Championship-bound, and I think Craigan will sign a new deal to stay at the club. Jeffers can do whatever the fuck he wants as far as I'm concerned, as long as it doesn't involve Motherwell.

As far as I know there is no "official" ultra-type group at Fir Park. The East Stand is the place where the more, shall we say, excitable fans dwell
