  1. The fact that Spittal is one of our better players, just shows how poor our standard (and our peers to be fair) has dropped in the last few years. The guy is not irreplaceable, he's not even that good. He's just less shite than most of the rest of our squad. If he wants to go to St Mirren, good luck to him.
  2. Well, given that we were going to get put out on penalties at the weekend then any stay of execution is a good thing. It also gets more money in the coffers
  3. Gent by a country mile. Spittal did get two good goals so needs credit for that, but he did have plenty shockers in there
  4. Leaving aside his goal, Gent was by far our best player today. Really good to see someone take the initiative and keep pressing forward. Miller made a difference when he came on, thats another big plus. Sadly the rest huffed & puffed but lacked any kind of quality. (Ok, Spittal managed 2 flashes). First half for some reason we would not commit men forward when we are attacking. At most 2 men trying to support. The other 8 hanging back. Second half to be fair to them we put a ton of good balls in the box. A number 9 would have had a field day. Big Theo is a trier, but he has no natural (or even learned) instinct, in where to go in tje box and get on the end of things. A striker really has to be a priority signing now. Through to the next round so thats the main thing but we are not looking good right now.
  5. I thought he was attacking mid but hopefully im wrong.
  6. One striker in the entire match day squad. Christ!
  7. Fuck Hearts Wankers is horrific patter, but trotting out the same dribble week after week, season after season about getting beat and relegated isnt?🤔
  8. Is the ticketing site down or is my link goosed?
  9. To be honest, the majority of our players really are pish. Its not that long ago we had a team so pish we finished 11th & had to go through our playoff glory. How many of our current team would get in that team? Even the happiest clapper wouldnt put many in surely. That team, as bad as it was had mcmanus, pearson, ainsworth, Johnson, Las, Skippy & Sutton
  10. Watched the latest video this morning. Iv got to say i was doubtful when i saw the add but i would encourage all the doubters to watch what the chairman is saying. 2.5 million views, more well society sign ups in the last few days & 10 noted expressions of interest in investing in the club. Couple that with reports of our wee 'tin pot' video making the media in the USA & Australia then it seems like we are doing something right.
  11. Watt would spitt the dummy when he gets slaughtered off the east stand in his first game. Would likely cost a fair wedge & while he has ability when he decides to show up, hes also a clear mercenary. Given the circumstances of his departure, why would we entertain bringing him back? Beyond me
  12. As bad as it is, we will all be loving it if some rich idiot decides to funnel money our way. Whats the worst that can happen - we all take a slagging off our pals, workmates etc. Whats the best that can happen......
  13. Thats really encouraging to read. I supppse the big elephant in the room is the quality of player we have goes down year by year. Whether that is down to budget, recruitment or managers is unknown. Living within our means is the key thing though. Good that we are not gambling again.
  14. Any bullet point summaries of the 40 minute video??
  15. Great to get a result & a first half performance. Should have scored a few more in the 1st half. Dont want to get too excited as Livi were dire, but lets enjoy the 3 points -its been a while! Big Bair was constantly on it and that second goal was a beauty. Not sure how he missed the one early doors or when mika laid the hat trick on a plate for him but it made no difference. Mon the 'well!!!
  16. Because we are a terrible team that have the inability to do the basics
  17. Iv been expecting us to turn the corner for a while now but i think we are actually getting worse. Another defeat sadly
  18. Watching on tv today (in contrast to my seat almost a pitch level) was an eye opener as to how bad we actually are. The inability to execute simple passes is shocking. There was also plenty of times we could have got in behind rangers but our players couldnt see, perhaps dont have the vision to see the pass. The marking was brutal, or perhaps better described as non existant and tje fact we barely registered a shot at goal is shocking. Now, given the gulf in finance, no one should be expecting us to beat rangers but the abject lack of any kind of football basics was there for all to see. That type of performance is not going to arrest our decline. We need new blood in January and to be honest, quite possibly a fresh set of eyes in the dug out. These guys might be 'trying' but we are clearly either not coached well enough or just not good enough.
  19. Looks like we have actually decided to at least press them this half
  20. Not making it as have family commitments on but allowed to watch on tv. By god thisis brutal. Our short passing is dreadful. Decision making non existant, our marking is shambolic & we cant even press!
  21. To be honest, yes. Mika aside, we have a very poor. Piss poor squad of players
  22. You should be dropped when your form drops. You dont get a free pass. If we have a team who think they are untouchable regardless of the performance they put in then we are in real bother. Its the same in any job! And Ronaldo was dropped for his performances. They realised his role was not helping the team. His attitude then sunk when he was dropped.
  23. Yes, to show that if one of the greatest players to ever play the game (and team captain) can be dropped in a world cup, then we can certainly drop Liam Kelly
  24. Its quite simple. If Oxborough is not good enough to slot in for a badly underfiring Kelly then we need a new GK signing in January
