Dont know about that, but chick young was really singing our praises tonight. For him, it was quite a deviation, but good to hear

If the rain thats hit hamilton for the last 40minutes makes it up the hill to fir park, game will be off. Biblical rain!

Put it this way, aside from recent games, we have been honking this season, and yet..... we are 11clear of them with a game in hand. They are shite! Lets not get carried away though, we are not exactly world beaters ourselves but we are the better team here. Three points would be vital to them to kick their season off but by the same token, 3 points should be enough for us to guarantee we dont finish bottom. Hoping for a big result here, i would argue that winning this could be more valuable than beating accies, even though both games still return three points
-
We are 11points infront of them, they have something like 5 wins in ALL OF 2015, in what world would they expect to win? They might want to win, and think they could win, but no chance will they be expecting to win
-
Whilst i dont subscribe to all the must win pish that gets thrown around so early in the season, this game really is massive. Ok, a defeat and the sky is not falling in, but a win puts us 14 points+ a game in hand + a far superior goal difference from automatic relegation. That really would be a lot for United to catch up. United are shite, really shite infact but we all saw what a cash injection did for Ross County last winter. You have to expect the United board will throw money at the problem in January and that could see them improve. Lets put more daylight between us now, we are playing well, confidence is up and the prize of probable saftey (at least from automatic relegation) is big one.

Hall? In todays team. Guessimg he's a youth player? Any informed opinions on him before we decide in the space of 68 minutes that he's either pish or a potential world beater?
-
Grimshaw. Marvim was great when we were gettimg him running in behind down the left but it wasn't happening enough. Grimshaw was at the races the full game. If he keeps that up, we will be looking to keep him past january

Been a while since i've pitched up at fir park so unoptimistic. Last season was shite but towards the end we showed flashes, start of the season you are wondering if Barra had turned it around over the summer, mcghee starts and you thibk maybe we are heading in the right direction, then we get pumped off ICT and Ross County. :-( Doom and gloom for me today, hopefully im wrong but i'd take a point right now

And his maws a matress....or so the song goes

Watched the united v hearts game a few weeks ago and both teams were poor. Granted, we are also shite, but despite Hearts league position there shouldn't be anything to fear. Saying that..... 1-2 defeat.

Weeyin in pedantic post shocker!

I asked my mate (Rangers season ticket holder) about him yesterday. Says he barely gets off the bench this season.

It might make for some uncomfortable reading for the WS and club in general, but one of the reasons i (and im guessing im not alone) have not joined up yet is that threads like this make it look a complete shambles. There seems to be poor organisation, little effective communication, arbitary moving of the goal posts and this all results in fans being both confused and frustrated with what is going on! Sort it out, establish a clear purpose. Establish effective lines of communication and transparency of decision making and you might just find there are a raft of 'well fans willing to contribute

You dont half talk some amount of pish. We played worse than that 90% of last season. Questionable penalty, and a second chance at it, and two goals from outside the box, 3rd was a belter of a volley. Our belter hit the bar. In fairness there was not much in it between both teams. Plenty of room for improvement but even at 3-0 down i felt we could get back in the game. Something you couldnt say under Barraclough -
Thats quite an impressive piece of work Goggles&Flippers. I'm guessing you've built a little revenue operations model which sits behind it and the calculations are not just back of fag packet? My concern is not that with anything which is in your presentation, I don't have the time or inclination to sit and pick it apart or check through. I am however very concerned that you seem to have been dismissed out of hand. Perhaps the club are happy with where they are, and where they are going, which is fine - a shake of the hand for you you and told yes, but this is where we are looking to be Goggles and show you how it differs from your views would be nice. The alternatives are that the club have looked at your figures and disagree with them - again fine although some kind of feedback to you should have been provided with where you are going wrong with any assumptions you have made and how the club does not agree with your recommendations. Or....................... worryingly, the people who have seen your work are not able to follow what is going on. That for me is the biggest concern that perhaps we still do not have the right type of people in place at the club.

Would be nice if the above happened. Right now i would be happy with a solid 1-0 -
Seriously? The only guy i know who thought he was going anywhere was one of his mates from school. He was decent for a young lad, but never had what it took to make it at Motherwell, never mind a higher level
-
Plenty of 'well young players i thought would push on to bigger and better things, but Slane is the one i thought was going to be real top class level. The way he broke through andvthe way he could skin players seemingly with his head down i honestly expected to see him playing for a BIG english team.i've not been as impressed/ excited by a 'well prospect since Faddy
-
He didnt, but i believe he's got the full toolkit with him this season. Scoring goals for fun
-
One thing that might not sit well on here, I actually thought Josh Law had a decent game on Saturday. Certainly far from the worst of performers.........
-
Im just pointing out that he's less shite than all of our options since Higgy left
-
Given he was our top scorer the last few seasons, he was obviously less shite than the rest of our options during that time.
-
Im not too sure. Did Lasley get much game time under McGhee in his first spell? Phil, Hughes, Klimpl, Boab etc all played a fair bit. I cant remember Las being an ever present but maybe im wrong. Also heard mcghee's interview where he was full of praise for Laing and reckons there is a midfielder there. Could the writing be on the wall for the skipper? Hope not because he could actually play well at the back of a three man midfield with Pearo and Grimshaw.
-
I knew this was an early KO but wasnt paying too much attention. Presumed 12.30 or 12.45 but 12.00?? What the fucks going on? On topic, lets get right into them!
-
With each other? McGhee was away home. What would be the point in them coming in to blether to the same guys they see every other day of the week?
