  1. Thought there was a bit of a relaxed attitude towards away fans today. Only about 3 cops at either end of us who were quite happy to let the banter go.

Big Tache was in Majorca that night so missed it. He was at Farningham day tho'
  3. First Motherwell manager to win two Euro ties. In a (potential) Euro spot at Christmas. Some dodgy tactics/media? So far So good.

More of this will be nice!
  5. Had a good bevvy in the Port O' Leith before the game then couple in Middleton after.
  6. Stayed in the same hotel as the players in Drogheda in 1996. Ended up having a great night in the hotel bar talking to Lambert, Martin, Howie, McKinnon and Falconer among others. Got some good photos (I think) but unfortunately was so drunk that I lost the camera!
  7. Earliest one for this old timer was the 1974 cup qf replay when Celtic won 1-0 at FP. Think I was 7 at the time and thought we were certain to win having drawn 2-2 at CP. Closely followed by the semi defeats in 75 and 76. 1981 1-6 v Dundee utd 1984 0-6 v Celtic 1985 0-3 v Celtic More recently, the Woods howler, 5-6 v Aberdeen, 4-5 v United and Maloney games all stand out.
  8. All the above plus these 3. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x17o3n_mo...n-the-cup_sport
  9. Used to take the two boys to Inverness and it would cost me £50 to get us in. Looking at it that way, £22 next week isnae too bad.
  10. Not strictly true mate. Porto put them out of europe the midweek AFTER our 2-1 win. Their caretaker manager was wee Tommy.
  11. Probably not a record. Stirling Albion won a cup game 20-0 a few years ago, not sure what the ht was. Plus there were 36-0 and 35-0 hunners of years ago.
  12. Watching those highlights again, we're lucky we didn't lose about 8-0!! Great trip though.
  13. Think the biggest crowd for a Well/Accies game in the 80's was about 8000 for the cup game in 1987. Most other games had a lot less than that.
  14. We were just hitting the bars in Paris. Ended up near the Moulin Rouge at 5am! Still made the train to Nancy at noon though. We were a bit rough but a few cans soon sorted us out.
  15. So they are obviously getting some of the main stand again. Thought that wasn't allowed to happen anymore? ps No way will the Coop be anywhere near full but that was never the point IMO.
  16. That's a great page right enough. Mostly good strips with a few dodgy efforts thrown in. Remember entering competition to design 78/79 strip, think mine was quite similar to the eventual winner.
  17. Thought that's where I had heard it before.
  18. Was at the Falkirk game and left 5 minutes early Winner at Dunfermline was Paul Mills, I think. Paul Smith scored last minute equaliser against Celtic in 86/87 league cup semi.
  19. I was at the end nearest the main stand in the first half and it was almost full. Agree there was a bit more space at the other end though. I'd put our support nearer the 1800 mark. Shame we'll not take those numbers up to Aberdeen.
  20. Read somewhere that Killie cup game in 1970 was held up for a while due to trouble/pitch invasion.
  21. We thought we were hitting the traffic at Cumbernauld but managed to bypass it going the back road through Castlecary, I think. Came back over the Forth Road Bridge.
