Weve struggled against lower league opposition for years .

If and when we sign Jeffers he will get my support as any new Motherwell player would. As some have said ye just cant win ,we don't sign players its crap then if we do sign a player HES crap.

Well I thought it was a decent game and a good performance tonight ,wasn't impressed with Casagolda and to be honest I wasn't overly impressed with steve jones although he did have a few nice touches . jennings my man of the match. mccall said on radio hammel has done his hamstring .

The good thing will be that most of the assholes [myself included] who regularly post on this forum wont be part of the committee thankfully. It will be made up of balanced rational individuals whose main concern is the club and not there own points of view.

I see leeds have released a goakeeper called alan martin ,didnt he play for us at one time.

Whats disappointing is it sounds like yet another dire game and dire display from Motherwell . Big dip in form but this was always on the cards from a very average group of players .McCall has his work cut out that's for sure .Its good were still in both cups it keeps the season alive in some ways . At the present there's very little to enthuse about.

To say a cup win over Rangers is overdue is an understatement ,I have never seen us beat them in a cup competition and Ive been supporting Motherwell since the late 60,s .Been to most of those games and felt the heartache that went with them. But I'm always pleased when we draw them in a cup because sooner or later we WILL BEAT THEM and I would travel to the ends of the earth to see us beat those BASTARDS.

So after all the clubs efforts this week all we have is a 34 year old injury prone winger, and with Bob McHugh of to Partick it could be argued that were actually worse off. Is there any chance that we could be getting someone else in today.

We've had a few good games and results against Hibs in recent years but mostly they've had the best of the encounters, our defence has had big problems dealing with the Hibs strikers and it will be interesting to see how they cope again tomorrow. We really shouldn't lose this game all things considered but ....you know the Well.

I think we were 3-1 up in that game then a certain Pat Nevin ran riot for Clyde and we lost 3-4. I remember the opening day game as well against Rangers 2-2 after being 0-2 down, maybe that nice mr Yabbasturd could put the well v rangers game online somewhere for us to watch again .But yes it was a bleak time for M.F.C under big Jock Wallace.
