    Accies V Well

Well that looks like 20 quid saved[AGAIN] although I don't get to many away games anyway, its been a poor few weeks for us well fans lets hope McCall gets us back to wining ways with a wee bit entertainment thrown in for good measure .One thing did give me a chuckle though Dundee united equalised with the last kick of the ball against the Dons .Craig and Archie
  2. This is what im getting now..... The Web server you are attempting to reach has a list of IP addresses that are not allowed to access the Web site, and the IP address of your browsing computer is on this list............. Whats the script guys?
  3. .. McCall: Mulling over options ..Motherwell's new manager Stuart McCall has confirmed he would like an assistant already based in Scotland. The former Bradford City boss has just succeeded Craig Brown at Fir Park and now has one eye on assembling his backroom staff. McCall has good contacts in England, but is against uprooting any families and now wants someone who is Scottish-based. The 46-year-old is in no rush to make an appointment and his first priority is getting the better of Hamilton on New Year's Day. Preference "I would like it preferably to be someone who is already in Scotland," said McCall. "I had a couple of people in England but it would mean them uprooting their families so I would prefer it to be someone who is up here. "I've got an open mind. There have been three or four names mentioned but I will look over the next week or so and speak with the club. "There are some good guys out there who are out of work but it's getting the right one. "The advice I got was to devise a list of the things I'm good at and the things I'm bad at and get someone in who ticks the things I'm bad at. "We'll see but there is nothing in force at the minute. We've got the game on Saturday and we will prepare for that. "We then don't have a game until the cup game eight days later so hopefully it will be done in that time." .
  4. I was getting the new site yesterday and early this morning ,but not since about 11 o clock.

  6. Tommy Craig was manager of a Belgium side until recently, might be wrong but im sure its the club that the old hearts manager Laslo is now in charge of.
  7. All I get is the old site ,not to worry nothing much happening a suppose.
  8. Jealousy is such a negative trait.

  11. My personal opinion [which aint worth much i know] is that Boyle will surprise us again .
  12. Perhaps some of the footballing gurus could enlighten me ,what club is the visionary Gannon plying his trade with at present ?
  13. The trip to Odense as it was my first Euro away match, the whole trip was great 2 days of all things Motherwell. Met a few posters who i only knew by name from this forum as well which was good.
  14. In his first years at Motherwell McLean had no cash whatsoever e.g selling Mauchlin and McAllister just to keep the club afloat. Anyway its not going to happen weeyin .
  15. +1 anyone knows about working with nothing its the wee man ,if boring Broon can be brought out of mothballs then so can Tommy.
  16. He doesn't mention McDonald by name either Ricky it could be someone else ,but you would have to assume it was McDonald .
  17. Found this about Dave Penney. Not the most sophisticated of tacticians, Penney is a hands-on type and a superb man-manager who could be compared to the likes of Josà Mourinho in that he commands an extraordinary amount of loyalty and respect from his players. However, it is worth noting that, unlike Mourinho, Penney is almost universally liked in the world of football, and can call the likes of Kevin Keegan, Steve McClaren (who was reputed to have considered Penney as a candidate for the England U-21 job a role in which I feel he would have succeeded) and Chris Kamara his friends. 18. My take on this is that although individuals might be ruling themselves out of the job it doesn't necessarily mean they have been offered it. We want and need someone who is prepared to step up to the plate anyway not some shite bag who's no up for the challenge.
  19. scott burns is a well fan he also has this to say . .Motherwell also interviewed a foreign managerial candidate before the Rangers game.
  20. Now now Bob you specifically said Sam Allardyce would be in charge for todays game. Or did I read it wrong.
  21. Where is Bop by the way he seemed to have all the info the other night..........................Not.
  22. Well that was a dire dire performance today in every way ,I cant take one positive from that display ,we didn't have one player today that would get pass marks. I'm not going to mention any individuals but some players just ain't good enough to play for Motherwell f.c. I can understand anyone looking at our squad at present then being told by J.B that no money is available for players and having second thoughts about being our gaffer.
  23. To be honest I cant see what this guy has that makes him a stand out choice ,54 years old and apart from a brief stint as caretaker manager at Sunderland has no managerial experience at all. I'm not saying I dont want him as our manager but hes not the be all and end all of the search.
