He was unfortunate that the Well boo boys needed a target and unfortunately it was him. No matter what he did it wouldn't have satisified some of the so called "fans" (and I use that word loosely!!!). Guess that only leaves Crags as their target. You wonder why anyone would sign for Motherwell?
Most fans were ok with McGarry, a few like myself didnt think he was good enough but thats just par for the course some players you like others you dont .The guy couldnt be faulted for his effort he always gave 100% .Well fans arent any worse than other fans when it comes to booing players or the team.

Leeann said there would be no realistic chance of improvement between now and tomorrow so better to make the decision today.
Easy option? The club will loose a fortune not getting the game on so far from it. The easy option would be to bury the head in the sand and delude us that there would a chance of it going ahead.
As I said joe i might be out of order not knowing all the facts, I can put my hands up when i get it wrong and say sorry unlike some who still pig headily believe McGarry and O'Brien are football players.

Motherwell support was great on Wednesday, a Jambo workmate said we were like the barmy army.

The problem with McGarry is he could score a last minute winner for us in the Scottish Cup Final but just before it miss place a couple of passes, but the boo boys will come home and when everyone is talking about the great winning goal they'll pop in with "yeah but did you see that miss placed pass that led to a throw in". Some of the fans need someone to hate, just seem until he leaves McGarry will always be it, no matter how he plays.
The problem with McGARRY is hes useless, i was really disappointed to see him in the squad last night ,I also thought JOB was totally ineffective some nice touches but his play goes nowhere and brings very little end product. Jennings and Hatley were our best IMO.

I would have went for Reynolds but like some have said he might be away soon, Craigan and Lasley have had there best years and shouldn't even be in the frame, so its someone else for me.

I, as always support the team no matter who manages it or owns it. Club survival is everything just wish we had more faith in this guy as I firmly believe he would have turned us into a very attractive team challenging regularly for honours for little outlay.
Sad thing is Well Well that things like this will turn some fans away from firpark and who can blame them if what you say is right ,a charman and a board with no vision .Why should a punter who works hard all week then plough his cash into what imo is fast becoming a sinking ship- Motherwell football club.

The stark reality is that small clubs like Motherwell don't have a bigger picture ,its season to season and that will NEVER change . We simply don't have the resources to plan long term. One season Europe the next .....you tell me.

. Good to be positive but if things continue as they have over the past month relegation is a real possibility no mater how much spin we put on thingsIf that is the case we are relegated.What if Ruddy stays ? What if we sign a crackin right back in January ?
What if jennings. Coke and Hateley sign a new contract ?
What if by selling Reynolds we keep Ruddy and sign a couple of players on longer contracts ?

This is becoming one of the worst weekends in living memory.

We get away with it to a certain extent when we play against the so called weaker teams but against Hibs ,Celtic and Rangers in the last three games we've been done over big time. I like Gannons football from the back ,no just a big punt up the park philosophy but were just not good enough and experienced enough to play that way all the time.We seem happy to play the ball across the defence, but this only serves to allow the opposition to play a higher line and press the ball near our goal. If we keep conceding possession in our own half the pressure will ultimately tell, and this certainly happened in this game.

Interview in today's record seems to indicate Craig would like the job ,personally I would have no problems at all with this appointment ,after Malpass, McGhee, and Gannon we need a bit of stability .And Craig and Archie aint no mugs they know the game ,players and have contacts.
