  1. Just back from creamery park bathgate and when i left with a few minutes to go the well were 5-1 up ,the scorers were Meechan[2], Lawless[2] don't know the other goalscorer. Don't know all the players but think some were as follows, smith, Quinn, Pollock, meechan, lawless, halsman, martin. We brought a trialist on in the second half and he looked good as well. That's about it guys not a great report but its the best i can do.

  5. Don't think Meldrum is Dons bound, Leighton has been sacked by McGhee to SAVE cash according to teletext Leighton in devastated ,ah well thats yer old Gothenburg team mates for yi Jim.
  6. Link on the beeb site is playing up but when working would someone be so kind as to transfer the highlights to youtube like last week ,our overseas friends can then watch it as well.
  7. Ive been one of Jim's biggest critics, but last week and this he has been outstanding ,see how a good manager gets the best out of his players.
  8. We have went from the home attendance to stupid sectarian slang ,there are plenty of old firm sites to discuss this sort of crap, back to the original post or it should be H.O.T.D .
  9. "I am a bit frustrated we weren't able to do anything before the game today." Gannon admitted. "The players are keen as they are not getting their chance at their current clubs. We still have a week left and we've targeted a few and we are hopeful the deals will come off. "These two players would give us the balance to our squad and cover for injuries and also give us a chance to develop the young players."
  10. Motherwell manager Jim Gannon: "I am pleased that we got off to a good winning start at home but there were things in the second half things that disappoint me. "We changed things tactically today. I brought in Stevie Saunders at right-back to try to neutralise the aerial threat of Kilmarnock. It worked really well. "John (Sutton) gives us a bit of physical presence up front and he took his goal excellently. "We changed things second half. We tried to over-complicate our corners in the first half. We made it simple second half - put it right on top of the keeper. "Stevie Saunders is unbelievable in the air. He has got a fantastic leap. "Ross Forbes got himself a goal, but that wasn't his best game, there is more to come. "Young Hateley, Saunders, Hutchinson were immense today, but naturally Ross with his talent is going to catch the eye."
  11. Ah well pleased to say I was wrong again on all counts. Great show by the Well today.
  12. Hutchinson for keeping big Kyle in his back pocket.
  13. Thought last week was a good game and performance from the Well but tomorrow will be tougher against a strong well organised Killie side, Well 0 Killie 2.
  14. Might be wrong but I think he has only scored 1 goal away from Rugby park.
  15. Team and scorers on the official site mate.
  16. Is there nae chance of seeing some highlights of these games, I'm sure the ideas been mentioned before on this site , some silly ruling stopping it happening likely .
  17. Good player but not as good as a lot of the hype would suggest. Kyle at Killie is another one that imo fits that category .
  18. One for the older posters ,who was it that scored a last gasp winner in the Scottish cup replay against Partick at firhill must have been 1974 or there abouts.
  19. Just had Flow on the phone and he says 'eagtkip3q 5u kjkjkgkgjhjjfjhfjklsv k577 never thought we would see him in a well strip.
  20. My first thought was Bernard .
  21. Sorry Graeme excuse my ignorance but Gallacher who ?
  22. Interesting some of the loan signings being touted about on this thread , not one player mentioned will be at Motherwell loan deal or otherwise this season ,can guarantee it.
