No, not at all. Big John, I think, when he was in form and the team played and was built for him he was magic. Superb finisher most of the time and a guaranteed double figures goals stat every season. But when the team wasnt structured around his strengths or they couldnt play to them he offered little else.

Fair enough if you do want the support to actually dwindle to push through a change you believe needs to happen. I just think it is a bit of a shite thing to hope for - no matter the reason.

The problem I have, and I assume others have too, is in your first statement you say you hope the support dwindles further after this appointment. Surely anyone connected to the club in anyway does not want that to happen, current annoyance at the setup or not?

Take it you voted 'No' then? I would say 150 odd responses is a fairly decent amount to believe it is a good representation of this board. Wether it is representative of the fanbase is another thing. I tend to think this board usually shows the more passionate views at either end of the scale in regards any argument but the fanbase in the ground is in general more middle ground.

Which is partly the reason I wanted the poll. Often the loudest voices, or the ones we remember the most on here, on twitter, are those in the negative camp. More people will complain than those who come out to be positive. The poll currently clearly shows a large majority are happy with the appointment which is good for the club, if not a little surprising.

Celtic and Aberdeen his first two games as as well. Couldnt plan that if you tried.

Mark McGhee is still well liked at the club which tells you a lot. If he had really 100% snaked us he wouldn't be anywhere near fir park. I reckon his stints at Aberdeen and Bristol City have grounded him a bit and I would be happy to see him back.

That is it in a nutshell for me. As far as I saw he had 1 season in the first team and a handful of good games. Someone I will be interested when I see his name pop up but no more really.
