  1. I am on us to win at 12/5 as well. A renewed sense of optimism within the fans! I keep trying to pick a team but with 4 new players plus a few back from injury since the last game its a tad tricky.....if its a 442: Goalkeeper - No idea how good Long is but I think he may start over Dan. Defence - Not 100% sure about McManus but I would more than likely give him the nod. Straker, by having a left foot, probably did enough last time to be given a start at LB. Two from Ramsden/OB/Kerr/Reid/Law/Watt for the remaining two spots. Midfield - Loads of options! I think Lasley should come in with Pearo. Then take 2 more from Thomas 1, Thomas 2, Grant, Johnson, Carswell, Ainsworth Attack - Sutton should start given we probably will have a more productive midfield. In beside Moore or Erwin. McHugh is back apparently but shouldnt be near the starting 11. Maybe Johnson up front if not in midfield? In summary...I dunno. Ross County 1 - 3 Motherwell
  2. To be fair, he has only played 90mins v Celtic and 45 mins v St J since that game. I dont know who I would stick in cwbtral defence to be honest.
  3. Aye just on twitter. He seems to have a good background, especially with youth, and Bars talks highly of him. Promising stuff.
  4. I am sure he has been treated properley. I wouldn't expect anything else from the club. My understanding is he combines the scouting role with youth/community coaching for the club? So assume he now focuses on the latter.
  5. Scouting - Bobby Jenks out and Gary Owens in. Owens to be based in England. In the Daily Express.
  6. A lot of good questions here and also a lot of snide. No surprises there. * With Les confirming we need to focus on becoming a better selling club will this mean we will move away from 2 year contracts? Or, is offering a longer length of contract seen as too risky? * Where do we see ourselves as a club underneath the stewardship of Les? Best of the rest, top 6 or bottom 6? * How long is Baraclough's contract? * What initiatives will be undertaken to try and increase match day fan numbers?
  7. Yeah, that's true to be fair
  8. I don't know if it does really - that isn't a quote just what the reporter has written.
  9. Yes, I would be surprised if he walked away with nowt. Seems Mr Hutchison has given us the financial flexibility to really start things afresh under Baraclough in 2015. Leaves us in no doubt now that moving forward this is now Bara's team selections and Bara's training.
  10. Aye I think we did. Was it not during Cragy Broon's time with the club?
  11. We'd be as well pinning a topic for reference each time this happens. It would save us all time.
  12. Alan Burrows‏@Alan_BurrowsFew folk have asked about Marvin's contract situation. He has signed until May 2016 but the club have option to extend to May 2017...
  13. It wasn't directed at you in particular - a few folk have mentioned it. I get where you are coming from but I just don't think it matters that much.
  14. I know yer only half kidding but I think he extended his deal.
  15. Aye I would think so. Mr Burrows saying in twitter there will ve some loans out after the deadline.
  16. Nathan Thomas to us in loan on the SFA transfer page
  17. The manager keeps going on about competition for places so it seems we will certainly have that.
  18. Somebody earlier in said we can't go to the end of the season with only 3 strikers...not you but differing opinions!
  19. So...officially... we have signed a very promising young goalie and very promising midfielder. Tidy.
  20. Funny if McManus just had a sore knee and is playing again in a couple of weeks.
  21. Haha! Just for the avoidance of doubt... I can't really.
  22. I can see through his window just now.
