  1. SPFL have announced all games will be on the Saturday. TV haven't picked up an option to televise.
  2. By all accounts Ross County should have won that game yesterday. I think we can get 3 pts at St Mirren nae bother.
  3. Pearson had a good game in my eyes. Yes, there were a few tackles/headers he didn't get to but the majority he did and had some superb passes. Pearson falls into the same category as McManus in a lot of fans eyes (certainly where I sit) in that he does one thing wrong and gets shouted down about it but the likes of Lasley seem to have a free pass to do it all game without much complaint.
  4. Skippy for me. Great link up play, always involved and right place for the goal. Erwin and McManus close second.
  5. Talk is that Sheff Wednesday are watching Erwin and keen to offer. I hope we stay up and he stays with us. Its his first full season and he will only get better.
  6. Morgyn Neill saying in Twitter he is leaving the club. Never really made that step up/got the chance. All the best to him.
  7. SPFL put everyone on notice that all the bottom 6 games may move to Friday at 7.45 so it's what MelvinBragg said I.e. broadcasters didn't want to show any game.
  8. Said similar in another thread about the Accies game. I think the huge crowd, expectation after beating them before and then the tired last 20mins took a lot from what was actually a fairly decent 70 mins where we created enough chances to win it against a very up for it Accies team. I know I certainly was down about the full thing leaving after the game and for the full week before I watched the highlights.
  9. I think it will be close either way. Hopefully we can nick it. * At Thistle they won deservedly and we just didn't get going. Fair enough * At Accies we made enough good chances to win that game. The last 20mins and huge disappointment due to taking loads of fans/playing rivals/beating them convincingly the last match I think has meant a lot of folk have forgotten about the 6/7 good chances we should have scored - and that was with some really poor performances all over the pitch. * Against Ross County it was very tight and if not for 1 mistake we likely would have taken 3 points. All hope is not lost...but the key thing is we NEED to take the chances we create. If we don't it will be difficult to come away with anything. Motherwell 2 - 1 Killie
  10. Hardly. He was there as an analyst and was asked about Celtic so he gave an answer. When asked about Motherwell he did the same thing....and Aberdeen...and all the other teams.
  11. That a bit if an exageration. Erwin won about 5 headers in a period before taken taken off. He should win a hell of a lot more. Similar to Higdon, like someone else mentioned on that front.
  12. Agree. Thought he was fine today. Like most of the team - not brutal, not great just ok.
  13. I honestly thought the full team tried yesterday. I wouldn't question their effort compared to Accies where it looked like a handful of them didn't care - I thought they did today. We just lacked quality, made some poor decisions and, again, didn't take our chances. If it wasn't for the O'Brien mistake (who I thought had a good game other than that) we would have probably won. Not much between the teams at all.
  14. Win 2 and draw 1 will be enough if Killie lose their remaining. That would be gid. They have lost 5 on the bounce and have us, Thistle and County to play so its entirely possible. EDIT: It is actually 6 on the bounce.
  15. Win and we go 3 pts behind Killie with 6 to play for. There is still hope so we must go for it with a positive mind set. Same team as yesterday but I would swap Erwin out for Sutton.
  16. Haven't noticed this but does he release it from his hands before leaving the box and ends up well outside it maybe? A lot of goalies do that.
  17. Yas! News from press conf - Laing a late call for tomorrow but trained in Wednesday. He didn't confirm/deny Hammell would be fit but just said 'he got another 90mins on Monday'.
  18. Aye, agree with that Grant is only really effective in centre mid. I reckon the only changes we will see are Hammell/Straker and Laing/another centre back
  19. It's more the throw in thing that winds me up. Most games it takes the crowd to shout before a ref or lino moves them back. We hardly ever steal yards at throw ins! Not a big thing but it does wind me up a bit
  20. A concise summation of many posts. My thoughts exactly.
  21. It winds me up as well. I do think we tend not to do it as much as the other teams. Although that is what I would say as a fan I suppose! We are just too nice and honest.
  22. I hope stays. It's his first full season, he is young, he has talent...let's nurture it.
  23. I think the confusion has come from missing out a key value (total shots on target) in your post. So it looks like you are using the first statements info to work out the second. e.g. Long's 13 saves in 10 matches. Long saves 1 in 2 shots on goal. Doing the maths in effect would mean he has had 26 shots (assumed on target?) into him which he has saved 13? Average dealing with 2.6 shots a game. So should read 13 saves in 10 matches, 26 shots on target = saves 1 in 2. The games played figure is redundant really. E.g. Twardzik 81 saves in 24 matches. Twardzik saves 2 out of 3 shots on goal That means he has had c 120 shots, 81 saves? Average dealing with 5 a game? Is that right? Twardzk is on 28 games too, but assuming you are only counting his 24 league games.
