Anybody watch the Valencia v Deportivo game last night? I see it was 3-3 so hopefully was a cracker as my dad's already there and was thinking of popping along.

My folks went across yesterday and said it was roasting (38 degrees) so I think I will melt. Thay said it seems a fantastic city with a buzzing atmosphere when they went out last night for some tapas. Really looking forward to it now. One thing though, they flew in to Alicante and hadn't booked train tickets. They ended up having to hang about Alicante a while for their train but they said the station was alright and the train was a lot better than here.

Can we score is a lot different from will we score.

What do you have against Blackman? He came to us on loan and scored a good few goals. His club then loaned him to Aberdeen where he did nothing. What did he do to us or am I missing something?

Why go through a third party for Ryanair / Easyjet flights? Did he offer deals that weren't available through their websites? A few Google searches should throw up anything untoward.

Unless we bring in loanees we'll only be signing out of contract players so I don't see the the end of the transfer window affecting us much.

How much would it cost him for the advert in the Motherwell Times? He's either legit or been speculating to accumulate.

If you watch the clip it says they get 50% of TV money and the other 50% is split between the other 18! And they held up the kick-off of this game so TV could show the managers' interviews from the Real v Barca game. That's worse than anything we'd get here.

OK it was pre-season, on a Saturday and against more exciting opposition but Hammell was fortunate to have about 2000 more attending his game than Craigan did. He got a good crowd for a testimonial but we'll never know if McFadden affected it.

If it is an attempt to sell tickets then it's aimed at more than just those who would suddenly buy a ticket because we'd signed McFadden. We get very little newspaper coverage but this story wil be carried by most, if not all, papers today and will mention Thursday's game. During the week we'll be playing second fiddle to Celtic and then Hearts. Raising the profile of the game could attract some folk who fancy going to a European game and weren't even aware it was on. There will also be Motherwell supporters who were swithering about going due to costs or whatever reason and may now just be nudged into going by a bit of positive news. I'll still be very surprised if he signs though.

That's what we're doing - via Paris fro Edinburgh on way out then via Amsterdam on way back. All through Air France's website. Doesn't matter how you get there!

Or are ticket sales slow for Thursday and we need to put our name in the spotlight to gee them up a bit. Also, does publicly saying we're looking to talk to him not just invite Craig Brown to have another go?

Countries like Spain and France are much larger than Scotland and England and I think it has prevented a culture of going to away games. So when these European games come up we see them as another away game that we might make a special effort to go to whereas they don't generally go to away games so don't feel inclined to travel across Europe.

I looked up Google maps to see where our hotel is and it's right beside the stadium. Turns out it's Valencia's ground! Oh well, means we're closer to the centre I suppose and only about 2 miles from the ground if we do have to walk back.

If you did fancy the tomato fight it appears to be on the Wednesday morning and you would need to get a train to the small town where it is held. I've read conflicting stories of it starting at 10am or 11am. Unfortunately I don't arrive in Valencia until lunchtime on Wednesday so I won't make it but it looks a fantastic city. http://www.latomatinatours.com/

Those are stunning deals if there's no catch. Great chance for those that missed the crazy Easyjet / Ryanair rush for the cheap tickets.

Season ticket used to get you into "All home games played by the club". Cup games were cut back and it looks as though reserve games have gone now. Ah well, every penny counts at the moment.

Yon mental tomato food fight is being held on the Wednesday at Bunol, 38km from Valencia. One hour of carnage then you get hosed down by the fire brigade. Sounds like a once in a lifetime experience for some lucky 'Well fans!

Or if you're there the Sunday before our game, Valencia play Deportivo at 11pm. I had hoped they would have had a CL qualifier on the Wednesday night but I think they're straight into the groups.

You didn't see the goals we lost against Panathanaikos then?
