  1. Nice one, that's an anagram of Tony Unfortunatel, ex Plymouth and England C striker, likes to get in behind.
  2. I see mention in Twitter that we may have come to an agreement on compensation with Columbus as part of Cadden's move to hibs.
  3. First rumour, Harry Smith, striker from Northampton, via P&B Apparently us and county in for him. Already a reply on Twitter offering to drive him up here, so that tracks.
  4. I’m against us signing him, the thrill is in the chase/speculation. He’s our Faddy to Celtic.
  5. We don't know the impact of covid on our finances, so that could be one reason for not spending. Then we have the extra goalies that we've had to pay for. The other could be that it would be problematic to abandon our existing structure. However, until we get the folk in the door it's hard to judge what were spending.
  6. We were definitely after Irvine at one point. If we hadn't changed manager I'm sure we would have a couple of new faces already, but I imagine we cancelled any deals we had close when robbo left, since Alexander may have different priorities, or different ideas as to who to sign to address them. The players we had lined up may also have changed their mind due to the manager change. You'd think that the St Mirren game would be enough to highlight the obvious needs, but I'm going to guess that we're a week away from seeing any movement.
  7. I like the idea of Turnbull doing well enough to earn himself a big move and a sell on for us, while Celtic continue to throw their big 10 thing away.
  8. I think he has barely played due to injury.
  9. Gallagher was all over him, and that's what the ref seemed to indicate. However, mugabi did swipe erwins foot just after that. For the last year we have shown a tendency to buckle under pressure, and with st Mirren playing 4 up top, you just knew it was coming. The should have scored earlier, with erahahaon missing a sitter. Thankfully though, we finished the game on the ascendency with a good free kick from ohara, then testing them with corners. Overall it wasn't much of a difference from how we've played this season. Some good play in the first half, not taking chances, shitting it when the pressure is on. Polworth was more involved, and Cole looked sharper. Carroll also did well. I thought we took a risk by keeping ohara on, but we must rate him. Campbell nearly sold the jerseys twice with poor passes. Thought mugabi was fine.
  10. Seems there wont be wholesale changes just yet https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/55593010
  11. Interesting write up of his tactics. Seems to prefer a 4-4-2. https://footballbh.net/2020/03/18/salford-201920-team-analysis-tactical-analysis-tactics/
  12. Maybe ask him his favourite bridge and base our opinions on him in that?
  13. Caught that one on my usual Twitter search. The guys seems to have been injured since October, so fits with our profile.
  14. Some general info about the 3 external candidates Clubs, Games managed, win percentage, trophies, promotions, highest level Alexander - 4, 372, 43, 0, 2, English league one Wright -4, 578, 39.62, 1, 0, scottish prem Grayson - 7, 685, 41.46, 0, 3 English championship
  15. I'm not going to get too worked up about a story in the Daily Record, but either way we're in a mess and are ticking all the boxes on the relegation checklist.
  16. Betfred cup group stages, joe lewis, and Dundee helped robbo, but still decent. There are a few English jobs popping up, so I dont expect an Alexander or Holloway. Bookies odds are meaningless. I'm expecting Las or Wright.
  17. I see him flapping at a throw in and slapping the ball off a defender, then off himself, into the net. But we're already 4-0 up and it just makes for a nervy second half.
  18. We're never going to win again, we're doomed. 4-1 us, Chapman OG.
  19. I like him, but you don't lose a whole lot by sticking grimshaw there, and I assume he's on fairly decent money that we could use for someone who can't be replaced by grimshaw. Did a motherwell fan "go" stoke to buy our players from us a la championship manager?
  20. It's possible that getting Wright would mean that Lasley stays. I don't think he has a long time assistant that he would demand come with him. If its Wright, I'm fine with it. I'm not sure how much of the negative style stuff is true, and how much is just scottish football being shite, but he made an utterly boring football club that I always forget exists successful, so he has skills.
  21. Redemption stories are nice, but I don’t want us to be the club that gives the racist his ticket back into management during a period where players are taking a knee to protest racial injustice. I don’t think even our marketing team can pull together a portfolio for that one. He was also up to dodgy dealings with agents fees, so I’m not sure he’s a fit for us.
  22. The sun and the record get get their info from here and twitter, or just make it up.
