Just to update - They cannot switch it to Motherwell for the same reason the couldn't switch the League Cup game to Ibrox. The owners of Airdrie's grun wanted too much last time. They are going to (or maybe have spoken to now) speak to the Accies - they reckon over 2,000 Well fans will go there and it'll be worth there while.

I think this time is a little different, They had a decent defence and keeper last year. They've strengthend with a better manager, brought in three better midfielders and a decent striker to support their good striker. They should be bookies choice for second. Having said that I think something is rank up there. If they don't finish in Europe this year they should just give in and forget it.

Well, only allow it any 'low threat' games (which coincidently would annoy every fan of the 'big' teams so it's a win-win). There were SPL games at Fir Park with no police presence. Let the Ross County and Caley fans, who've travelled for hours, a pint during the game. It might even encourage roasters to behave - they get rewared with the ability to buy a pint. I think it is partly to with the media. The way they praised him with 'dead ball specialist' and 'excellant delivery ' when he put in one good ball all game - just because they liked his daddy. Leaving out contributions of other Motherwell players who played better. Probably because they watched out for him coz they knew his name and found it boring to learn the others players names.
