  1. Not that I am saying you are wrong but if your cup is half full - the player of the season and a Scotland squad player. Anyone with half a brain can - pick huge holes in the set up at MFC - fund huge good things in the set up at MFC. Where do we go from here? Same place as we always go, following the Dossers.
  2. Sitting behind the manager at the home game, it's partly for his height at kick outs.
  3. I remember Randolf getting abuse from The Cooper and retaliating. And anyway, he's a 'ten as penny' standard!
  4. Just score a feckin goal. MON RA WELL !

    Bbc Sportsound

I noticed this when Willie Miller started raving about a last minute equaliser at Pittodrie. Reporting what he wanted to see, rather than what actually did. Then the press started a 'new firm' lovefest. It'll be the same next season until the vile h*n near promotion.

    Corteo Motherwell

Good luck guys. I'll stick to my own corteo, through the 'shum wi a cheeky vino rosso.
  7. Yeah, we're not fit, we've no goalie, our defence is poor, we've one decent striker. I assume our midfield is OK. Jeez, another season where we'll struggle....oh wait a minute!
  8. Spoke to Ainsworth and his girlfriend a few times, always commented how happy they were here. Money talks but there's still hope.
  9. Yep full time contracts have run out. So Lionel, don't sign on, sign for us!
  10. I am sure anyone could highlight any player and show it to be 'his' fault. Absolute bunkum dressed up as football knowledge, aka Leveinspeak.
  11. We got half a mill when they sold him. No?
  12. Unless he and his chickadee are liars, they he want to stay. We should have they money now, so.....in Stuart we trust. And I can't help but think, the last game would help!
  13. Said it before, we're a great team every 20 years - early 30's, 50's, 70's, 90's & 10's. Cup win next year.... or 2031. Could not have written it any better, maybe going in aff a defenders face - and the celebrations from the players was superb. I just love seeing that. Embdy post photies? I am strangely optimistic for next year. GBTW.
  14. I know. Just how lucky are we? Average, lazy players, poor manager decisions. How on earth can we compete with a team containing Scotland's future or Celtics next challengers I'll never know. Check out the league table ya twangers.
  15. Just a small point, and remember I'd father his children, but watch big Handsome at corners. What is his role? And thinking about it, the small things can make a big difference.
  16. What about Samaras? Haven't seen either again but looked 'stonewall' at the game! All this "going down, then Vigurs touched him". Utter nonsense this games turning into. Maybe if the ref had got his card out for a dive earlier he wouldn't 'gone down' as easy. Football, not Hetrippedmeball.
  17. But wouldn't be for Motherwell.
  18. Birmingham scout was sitting behind me, watching him. Where would you go? Scottish press love a 'look how hard Ally's trying' story.

    Why So Few?

I think I am right that fewer Well fans go to these games than 'normal' games. Parents don't take kids and folk are simply not wanting to put up with their scumbag element. I've been to about five 'old firm' games (last three two wins and a draw) since Skippy Sunday simply because they are chunts. Out of the usual seven of us two were there on Saturday and we're more than two season ticket holders. How many police were there? And we are the first club to have a game with no police at all. They are there simply because of the opposition. The sooner people (the meedja) know, learn and admit this the better. They may bring fans but they take some away too. Oh, and Lennon is an ungracious twanger of a man. Oh oh, nice of BBC to show The Greek waiter falling in the box but not his juggling!!
  20. Aye. You are right. But it's worth remembering.:-)
  21. It's quite a sad but proud time. Fanzines were pronounced dead years ago when t'internet took off coz it's much more up to date. You've done brilliant to last so long. Ever thought of an OSB blog type thing? Different from here but some of the same.. We (Well fans) could have a fans forum - this - and a fans no' too bad blog type.....erm blog. Link it all together with the Well Trust and anything else we have. Maybe ask us Steelmenonline people if there is any interest in it. Maybe ask the SIWY dudes to get involved? In my opinion, the more Well sites I add to my favourites the better. I would contribute but can't be relied on ;-) This might all be nonsense but I am just in from a few beers!! Regardless, best wishes sir.
  22. Deciding If it is good we qualify for Europe is good. Jeez how times have changed.
  23. Having said that, I nearly got my head kicked in for being Aberdeen
  24. I ended up on the Hibs side of the road, calling youse all 'Motherwell bassas' in my finest Leith accent.
  25. A famous one that. Shortly after that, I remember reading If you took all the Motherwell scarves bought in the close season and laid them end to end.....It would still be raining at Tynecastle. Did we not take a big crowd to McDairmid? - 5-0
