  1. Agree..the mistake for the goal is clouding peoples opinion....Grimshaw has been worse! Keeps giving the ball away....
  2. Deffo wouldn’t drop McHugh. Been one of our best performers so far this season (not saying a lot admittedly). I’d go with a back 3 or Aldred, Hartley and McHugh, wingbacks Tait and Frear, 3 in midfield of Campbell, Rodriguez and Bigi with Main & Johnson up front. Cadden, Sammon and Rose on the bench. Alternatively go 4-4-2 with Tait, Aldred, Hartley and ATS at the back, Cadden, Campbell, McHugh and Frear in midfield and Main & Johnson up front. Cadden should not start unless is wide right with a RB behind him.
  3. Great post! Exactly the team I’d like to see start in the absence Bowman, Tanner and Dunne. Would deffo give us more ball players but still keep the endeavour of Campbell, Tait and Cadden. I am a fan of Robinson and he still has a lot of credit in the bank in my opinion, but if we start with Main & Sammon on Saturday I think we better start worrying........
  4. Or alternatively they prefer a player that puts a shift in versus one who doesn’t.........
  5. Totally agree. I’d go with him and Main (Bowman if he was fit...) On the basis of last weekend and today Sammon is one of the laziest players I’ve seen in a Well shirt in many a year......don’t think I can cope watching him this season. Also think we need to bring in either Bigi or Rodriguez to give us someone in there who can pass the bloody ball! If Cadden is not fit he needs the time to recover, if not he should get a rocket up his a**e for clearly ducking out of a 50/50 towards the end of the game. Nightmare day, however they are a good side, we had a few players out, Carson had one of his poorest games in a Well shirt and all of the luck went against us (Hartley hand ball, Johnson’s shot hitting the post and his disallowed goal) We’ll have better days but our manager needs to react to what we can all see......
  6. Just got an email reply from the club to say that the ticket office is closed tomorrow but that tickets will be on sale at Easter Road from 1pm.
  7. Surely Rodriguez plays after his 45 mins last week? I’d have him in for Grimshaw or Rose, although if Cadden doesn’t make it then it’ll be for him.
  8. Anyone got any idea if this game is all ticket for us and if so does anyone know if the ticket office is open tomorrow? Been working away and club haven’t answered my tweet or email.....
  9. Shows how we all see it differently..........I couldn’t disagree more, thought nearly everything good we did in the 2nd half came through him. Got on the ball, dictated play, picked the right passes and even put his foot in at times. Think he really showed up how poor Rose, Campbell and Cadden were. Not getting the chat that Cadden had a good game today, couple of good crosses in the 1st half, apart from that did nothing. Only Rodriguez, Frear, Carson and Johnson with pass marks for me.
  10. Long shot but anyone got 3 tickets for The Shed going a begging?!
  11. Was brought up round about Hampden. I would try parking around the Crompton Avenue/Elmore Avenue area. You can then walk passed three bridges on the way down to Mount Florida. Hopefully avoiding most of them on your way!
  12. Long shot but went online to get tickets for The Shed pre match event and it’s sold out! Was hoping to go with my Dad and daughter! If anyone has tickets that they’re are now not planning to use can you let me know?
  13. Anyone know if you can get tickets on the day at the ground or do you need to buy in advance?
  14. If it is called off or indeed a replay is required, does anyone what dates are likely?
  15. Tait in the Kipre position, with Cadden & Frear wingbacks?
  16. Does anyone know what the dates are for any potential reply? Im guessing 13/14 March but not sure. Trying to book flights and want to make sure I can get to any replay if its needed.....(hopefully well do them at FP but its bound to close!)
  17. Campbell, hands down. Outstanding performance from the young man! Only Cadden & Ciftci below par, pass marks for the rest in my opinion! Back 3 solid, Rose & McHugh battled hard, Tait put in a shift and Main was a threat throughout (although probably should have finished more than 1 of his chances in the 2nd half). Carson had little to do but did it well.
  18. By no means would I say Rose has been good this season, however I thought he had his best game in a Well shirt at Tynecastle at the weekend.... I would deffo have started Bigi over Grimshaw when we have McHugh and Campbell already in there.....all too similar for my liking.
  19. Im more inclined to think Robinson would go with the following if everyone is fit: --------------------Carson--------------------- -----Kipre---------Hartley--------Dunne Cadden--Campbell--McHugh--Tait- --------------------Tanner--------------------- --------------Ciftci-------Main---------------- Aldred, Rose, Frear, Bowman, Bigi, Grimshaw, Griffiths
  20. Just went through security at Glasgow airport with the squad, didnt see Nadir Ciftci, however there was a smallish black guy with Curtis Main that I didnt recognise.......
  21. As some have said, a bit of context needed here. We were always going to go through a tough spell of disproportionate away games after playing 6 at home and 3 away prior to the semi final. That allied to Moult being out, plus a few of our other really important players missing games (Cadden, Hartley, Carson, Frear) has combined to see us really struggle. If you look at the last 5 games (since the game at Parkhead) weve only played 1 home game and we had to do that with 10 men for the majority of the 2nd half and still came out of it with a point! No doubt Saturday is now a big one given that we are at home against a team we would and should expect to beat, however if it goes against us I still believe Robinson has earned time from the fans to get it right. Turning on him at this stage, just over a month from him taking us to a cup final would be ridiculous in my opinion. He should and will be given the opportunity to bring a few in Jan and then lets see where we are come the end of Feb when those players have bedded in. Dont think well be top 6 but neither do I think well be relegated.....
  22. Looks like a 4-3-1-2 to me. Griffiths sold the first goal, for the 2nd game in a row, awful. Grimshaw and Fisher very poor so far my opinion.
  23. Anyone advocating Kipre & Dunne in the middle of a back 4 clearly hasnt watched these two players much......Whilst McHugh had a shocker on Wed night he must play at the back if Hartleys not fit. If the injury situation remains as is I would go Griffiths, Tait, Kipre, McHugh & Dunne, Bigirimana, Campbell, Grimshaw & Frear, Tanner & Bowman in a 4-4-1-1. If Hartley is fit then McHugh into midfield and Grimshaw on the bench. Think another defeat beckons if Im honest......we just cant cope with no Carson, Hartley, Cadden or Moult, give us any 2 from the 4 and Id give us a good chance but......
  24. Im hoping the team for Sat is Carson, Tait, Dunne, Kipre, Hartley, Bigi, Campbell, McHugh, Frear, Tanner and Bowman in a 4-4-1-1 formation. Need to play Frear as a winger not a wing-back. Assuming obviously that Moult and Cadden wont make it...I think weve seen Rose, Fisher, Petra and Griffiths are all squad players, able for the odd 10 mins here and there at best.
  25. Terrible terrible first half!!! Awful goalkeeping error for the first, awful mistakes by first McHugh then Campbell (I think) for the third goal. Look like I team that have never player/trained together......Only Frear looking likely to do anything at all. We so badly need Carson, Hartley and Moult back (and Cadden)..
