Outstanding to a man. What a joy to watch and the Motherwell train keeps on rolling. Nice to finally give a team a good scudding and even better it being a Robinson team. I wouldn't be surprised if he chucks it now.
It was a loose pass from Connolly that started the chain of events. It puts us under immediate pressure with no margin for error. The park was a cow field and wasn't suitable to be passing on never mind in our own box.
Can blame Beaton and VAR all day but it's nothing but clutching at straws. Both by the letter of the law were red cards caused by our own doing. Really disappointing.
Honking day at the office. Conditions, team selection, winning the cup hype. Was only going to end one way. Knew it'd be tough but couldn't have predicted how poor we've been. Difficult venue to attempt to bounce back at the weekend as well.
Maybe the win dirty part was a bit far but we've played better, we should have been out of sight at half time. I'm over the moon with the 3 points and it's wonderful to be winning almost comfortably even when we're not at our best. It's not a criticism.
Not a classic and definitely not at our best today. Understandable after the efforts they put in on Wednesday. Sometimes you have to win dirty, three points is three points.
It's not even just those incidents. What also boils my piss is when he was blatantly ignoring Tavernier stealing countless yards at every free kick or throw in he took. Trivial I know but these things can affect games.
Tougher test tonight. Sorry to the fans planning to travel up there but I'd take a scrappy 0-0 to keep the clean sheets going. Of course a win by the odd goal would be more than welcome.
Edit: just read the posts about the inspection. A postponement wouldn't be a bad result if it allows extra time for player recovery.
Yes. And it's up to the suitors to take that gamble. The great thing is, the club have no pressure to sell (at least this window). I'd expect him to move on in the summer however and I'd be hoping to recoup miller money or close to it.
I think that's the most important thing. Like the players, he's very much an asset to the club. If he chooses, he will move on, nothing but our best can we do about that. The club just need to make sure he doesn't leave for nothing.
