We had back ups last season. If Robinson chooses to play injured players that's up to him.

I don't think we have much choice but to try and grind something out on Wednesday night. It will be backs to the wall. I'd like to see us try something different on Saturday though as Clarke has owned Robinson tactically they two times we've played them.

If the media were at all interested in our club he would be getting crucified for this. If Gerrard, Rodgers or McInnes did something as daft you would never hear the end of it.

Teams are obviously aware that if they score first and sit tight they are near enough guaranteed three points. We have barely made a chance this season and when we have scored it's been down to defenders slipping and set pieces. Johnstone's goal at Livi was the only one tha doesn't fit description.

Sammon+Grimshaw+Donnelly+Newell+Gordon surely equals a decent striker.

Burrows knows the questions being asked. And has a platform to answer....

How is it possible to watch the Hearts match and think what we need is Sammon and Donnelly? Robinson has been dodging bullets for a while but I think this week will catch him out.

What's the point in playing Sammon if he can't play in the QF. Give Bowman and Johnson a run surely?

Does McCormack not have drug and alcohol problems? I watched the last ten minutes of the Wigan game and big Cedric was clearing everything. They are up to third and he's got the Simon Phoenix hair back.

In their first team appearances last seasom they did far better than some of the haddies we have seen playing this season.

Has Maguire been moved due to lack of height?

If we are to get anything out the next two games we probably need clean sheets.

They couldn't have done less Sammon, Grimshaw, Donnelly or ATS in their appearances. Or Elliot Frear and Andy Rose on Saturday (obviously requiring a change of formation). Players from the u20s seem to be held to a higher standard than signed players by some people.

That's a very good question! You would need to ask Burrows and Robinson what is going with the huge squad and why we are the only team in the league who haven't blooded a youngster this season.

NEC got relegated last season so i'm not sure how good a player from their u23s would be if he can't get in the squad in the Eerste Divise. It might be a better idea to play some players from our own u20 squad than go down a route that could easily be Petravicius Mk II.....

The wee boy hit Mitchell in the chest from about a yard away. It was only a rolled up bit of paper but you can't really blame Madden for highlighting it.

We've scored 6 goals in the league. 4 from set plays. 2 from defenders falling over.

They will probably bottle two cup finals.

Our shitebag holding midfielder continually let him have the ball.

McHugh cost us the game and possibly cost Carson a lot more. He played well but it's not the first time he's done something extremely stupid. Aldred by a mile.

Aye because they kept on missing the target when they should have scored. They had 3 or 4 great chances second half and we had a weak McHugh header.

1 new outfield signing on show today. "Strengthen 12-17" yet we are still looking to Frear and Bowman to change things for us. Campbell is never an attacking midfielder, Cadden is never a wingback and Tait is wasted on the left. Rose is a passenger, drop him and put the three of them where they should be.

We were well beat. Created nothing and Hearts missed a good few chances.

The Youth Cup final showed there is an appetite for this kind of fixture. Hopefully the club really promote it and we get a similar atmosphere to that night.

And get them on growth hormone asap.
