That was a good win. We dominated the first half without creating much and Main and Johnson were hitting shots when they should have been looking for passes. Frear being direct forced the mistake for the first goal and Johnson's finish was excellent. It was great to see Bigi getting a goal and his clever free kick made the third. Hartley was superb today and looks like he is fully fit. I thought Aldred was motm, he just doesn't lose challenges. On the negative side neither Campbell or Cadden are suited to the roles they are being asked to play and eventually Robinson is going to have to make decision between Rose and Campbell as a defensive mid.

It looks like big Sutty might be in charge of Morton tomorrow. Ray McKinnon makes a snake move from Morton to Falkirk.

On the one hand i'm looking forward to this and i'm reasonably optimistic that we'll play some decent football and win. On the other hand we've been dodgy at the back so far, the balance in midfield still isn't right and if we lose it means a miserable international break and huge pressure on the Hearts game. We cannot lose this one.

Anyone who thinks refs are interchangeable or neutral needs to wise up. Today we got the best we could expect from Thomson but he still favoured the bigger name players - Morelos, Lafferty, Goldson - and obviously kept his cards in his pockets first half because he didn't want any more high profile decisions at Fir Park.

That was the most enjoyable game for a long time. We had the right combination of physicality, pressing and decent passing from Bigi. Main looked a completely different player from the Accies game with a couple of extra weeks training under his belt and Johnson looks like a good partner for him playing on the last shoulder. Going forward we need to get Tait on the right and Cadden back in the middle. Campbell needs to be the holding midfielder as he doesn't have the creativity to play further forward and Rose is a complete empty jersey. Rose doesn't show for passes, doesn't tackle and is basically a man down when you have the ball. I'd like to see a Campbell-Bigi-Cadden midfield and give Frear a chance a left wing back then if that doesn't work ATS. There's a good team there if we get players in their proper positions. The intensity from today will pick us up points.
