You don't need to drop a midfielder and a defender out the squad to play a striker. Hopefully they are getting loans as they won't get an opportunity here.

Hastie played 90 with Alloa on Saturday and won their penalty to equalise. Scott could be a candidate for a loan as well.

Turnbull and Maguire aren't involved in the reserves today. Are they possibly going on loan? Also Akeal Rehman is a new name. Possibly ex Wolves?

Paul Hartley sacked by Falkirk. Petravicius still contracted until June 2020.

So do we think we'll add anyone before Friday. That we still don't have a left wing back is criminal so if we sign anyone it should be for that role.

Carson Aldred McHugh Dunne Tait Cadden Campbell Bigi Frear Main Johnson

Anyone who thinks refs are interchangeable or neutral needs to wise up. Today we got the best we could expect from Thomson but he still favoured the bigger name players - Morelos, Lafferty, Goldson - and obviously kept his cards in his pockets first half because he didn't want any more high profile decisions at Fir Park.

That was the most enjoyable game for a long time. We had the right combination of physicality, pressing and decent passing from Bigi. Main looked a completely different player from the Accies game with a couple of extra weeks training under his belt and Johnson looks like a good partner for him playing on the last shoulder. Going forward we need to get Tait on the right and Cadden back in the middle. Campbell needs to be the holding midfielder as he doesn't have the creativity to play further forward and Rose is a complete empty jersey. Rose doesn't show for passes, doesn't tackle and is basically a man down when you have the ball. I'd like to see a Campbell-Bigi-Cadden midfield and give Frear a chance a left wing back then if that doesn't work ATS. There's a good team there if we get players in their proper positions. The intensity from today will pick us up points.

Bigi, McHugh and Main were outstanding. Has to be Bigi though.

He scored 3 in 3 against us last season. It was never happening with wages but anyone who didn't want him was mad. Lafferty and Moult would have been brilliant.

Maribor have knocked out Hibs, Rangers and Celtic since 2010 and got draws with Sevilla and Spartak Moscow (x2) in the Champions League last season. Scottish results have been so bad for so long now it's a great result any time a team advances.

Rangers will play with two wingers and two attacking fullbacks. If we start 3-5-2 we will struggle out wide.

That's them played 10 competitive games under Gerrard without being behind. First goal is massive on Sunday.

I'm guessing he's not going to enjoy answering questions about this and he'll be hoping no one links it to the bullying allegation.

Aye the build up is going to be about us being physical again and any strong challenge we make is going to have the South Stand in uproar. The club captain shouldn't be mocking injuries in the media at any point but it's even worse when we are bottom of the league and pointless.

It feels like because he's been injured he's keen to make up for it with enthusiasm in the media. He might be the kind of guy who reacts well to stuff like this but I don't think Robinson and particularly Bowman will be very happy with him.

The pressure is on Hartley to perform now. Thomson will have marked his card already.

I watched the Wigan game. Kipre played as a left centre back in a back four. He a few dodgy moments with positioning in the first ten minutes when Stoke were on top but strolled the rest of game.

Kipre is playing against Stoke on the Sky Sports red button at 8.

This cheating prick is back at Fir Park on Sunday. He obviously didn't want to retire without a Hampden send off so we need to put up with him for another year.

George Newell misses a penalty.

He went off injured.

We are paying a full time wage to Sammon. As for Hartley it's wait and see.

Hartley is yet to play a decent 90 minutes and we have no idea what Sammon is being paid. Whatever we are paying is too much.
