  1. I think we can get ourselves safe with the back three. But I also think that if we need something on the final day at Inverness it would be suicide.
  2. Bowman is surely the only player from the last game who's place is under threat. Tait in Bowman out and back to a back four for me.
  3. I'm predicting two nil to us and Moult to do the Messi celebration.
  4. Doubt it. From what I heard he wasn't wanted this season but the goals he scored on loan activated the extra year on his contract.
  5. If we sign Mannus we need to make sure he's not another Dean Brill. Mannus was fat and useless in his first couple of seasons up here then slimmed down and got into the N.I squad. Unless he is in the same sort of condition as when St Johnstone won the cup he is no use to us.
  6. Josh Thompson double. The game was also noticeable for Jim O'Brien breaking the land speed record to get Robbie Keane's shirt.
  7. At this stage of the season i'm not concerned with hypothetical performances or measuring the decline of guys in their mid 30s. He's been our best midfielder and he can play 90 minutes. He'll start every game. Calling for him to be dropped is idiocy.
  8. That's a load of pish. Campbell was rightly praised for his tackle on Saturday but Pearson made an even better one in the closing minutes against Accies. He's the only proper centre mid at the club and even if he isn't playing great he can go for 90 minutes which again none of the rest of them can do. The Campbell was man of the match, Pearson was pish narrative from Saturday highlights how little a fair chunk of our fans take from watching a game. The fact that Pearson is getting more stick for being involved in games and making mistakes than Clay got for hiding for months on end is mental.
  9. Pearson won't be getting dropped. He isn't at that the level of last season but he is our best midfielder by a mile. The idiots shouting at him for 'shiteing' out of tackles need to think back a few months to when we were picking up red cards every other week.
  10. You could strip whoever does the Motorpoint challenge to do the exact same job.
  11. Which club do you think would pay it?
  12. For some reason i've never forgotten McCann diving for a penalty at Fir Park for Hearts twenty years ago. So it would be good to horse him in his managerial debut. Hopefully this also means Sky are jacking in Scottish football.
  13. Midfield is ICT's strongest area and we were 2 versus 3 in there so i'm not surprised we struggled. Foran talked about their passing game and they do look impressive when they start knocking it about but it's not done them much good this season.
  14. The unwashed will have to be pacified so expect 5 matches.
  15. Tony Watt is my guess. I'd like Erwin back though.
  16. McCulloch doesn't get many mentions as an ex player but he has done brilliantly since taking over Killie.
  17. He looked comfortable in the back three and used the ball well. I don't know what he will offer us next season but hopefully he finishes this one strongly.
  18. He should have been in the team/squad since Accies but apparently we have thousands of pounds to piss away on Lee Lucas.
  19. Campbell was ropy until that half time tackle. Moult set the tone, McDonald played well. Voted for Hammell cause no one else will but he had a good game and it was great to see how pissed off he was to be subbed for an utter haddy.
  20. I thought he played well. Definitely did first half when he was in front of my seat. I'm too far away to say how he played second half but he couldn't have been worse than Heneghan.
  21. Samson Henegham McHugh Hammell Cadden Campbell Pearson McDonald Frear Bowman Moult Good to see Clay dropped.
  22. http://www.heraldscotland.com/news/12575301.Businessman_with_his_eye_on_the_ball_Whole_world_in_his_hands/ I had to google him and this came. Importing from China in the early 90s so he should be loaded by now. The Society should hit him up for a donation. Wrong thread.
  23. I think we'll avoid the play off. The playoffs have had a decent narrative every year. The first was a spectacular Hibs fuck up. Second us punishing McCall. Third Falkirk being Killie's bitches again. This year it'll be a Dundee derby.
  24. The main reason is that the teams we are playing are utter shite as well. We could easily have had a point if Jules header went in on Saturday in a much harder fixture than we'll face again. We are long way from being a decent football team but a much smaller margin away from picking up more points.
