I suspect that to get a transfer budget in the summer some in contract players will have to be moved on and Mcghee has already decided that Ainsworth and Laing will be two wages he wants to free up.

I'm no fan of the police but I don't think they are to blame at all. Their horses sorted it out eventually. As I said you can't stop people getting in the park if they want to. The SPFL seem to expect the club to take some sort of action which will discourage people from running on in future. So it's either hand out a few bans or get punished.

It's not possible to put enough stewards between the stand and the park to stop people coming on. Their is no way the club, the stewards or the police can stop a couple of hundred people getting over the wall if they are determined to. The SPFL obviously think handing out a few bans might discourage it happening again. It'll be interesting to see how the club react.

Since we entered the top division in 1903 we've only spent 6 seasons outside it. Getting relegated would be a disaster.

I like Moult but he isn't young he's 24. He's got a lot of good things about his game so he's probably dropped to Conference level because he's one sided. The only teams spending money on transfer fees are the EPL teams and teams who want in the EPL, they'll never go for Moult. My opinion about whether Higdon should get a game changed depending on circumstances but I'll never change on believing that players showing up over weight shouldn't be tolerated

I don't think the problem was the 4-5-1 today. The problem is that every single time we've made a sub in the last few months we've got worse. I thought we should have stuck with the 4-5-1 but swapped Pearson and McDonald for Ainswoth and Moult.

Anyone who thinks Louis Moult is going to bring a big transfer fee needs to readjust their expectations. He's a good player for us but no club who has the money to pay a six figure transfer fee is going to be interested in paying for a guy who contorts himself any time the ball goes near his left foot.

I thought we did ok for most of the game today. Better team first half and Law cost us the goal. Second half we were poor and got a goal from nowhere. After that we have to go for the win but McGhee made an arse of it. If you decide to make a sub there is surely a reason behind it, why would you change because of a jammy set piece? It's like tossing a coin about whether you should put a sub on.

There isn't one of the senior players who shouldn't be thinking they need to do more so the idea of them all piling onto a guy who was the park for five minutes is a joke. Gomis doesn't look like he can play on the right hand side, Lasley isn't getting dropped and Pearson is the first name on the team sheet if he's fit.

I'd go with that team as well if Pearson isn't fit. He was bothered by his right knee from kick off last night so he should probably have been rested then.

I don't think we have much choice but to go same again if Pearson's fit. If he's not it's a straight switch for Gomis but otherwise our options are non existent.
