Donnelly is pish. There were three times the other night he miscontrolled the ball in a manner that would embarass a junior player. If he plays on Sunday he'll either hide for 90 minutes or get sent off.
If we end up extending him and McGinley it'll be depressing.
McGinley hasn't put a decent cross in for about 17 months and combined with Donnelly to give away the goal.
Slattery had 75% pass completion which was significantly better than anyone else in our team.
Then he got sent off at East End Park for the same thing when we pumped them on Boxing Day.
Obviously not everyone gets along with their team mates. Maybe Tait and Donnelly have previous.
We just don't have the quality to create and finish chances. We spent plenty of time in the final third tonight so intent wasn't a problem just execution.
Neither fullback offers anything in attack which makes it very difficult with a narrow midfield.
I don't think so.
Looking at Live Score every team making 4 or 5 changes has done it the same way as last season since the end of the break.
The ref was clueless all night.
I don't think we have the right balance in possession/attack since Watt left to get the best out of direct attacking players.
This guy isn't going to get any better service than Roberts has recently and it doesn't look like he creates so it's an uphill battle.
Tierney looks like he might be able to play a pass in the final third but Hearts nullified him easily enough on Saturday.
Woolery, Roberts, Shields and Amazulor haven't been able to make much of an impact so it seems unlikely a guy released by a Belgian lower league team is going to be any different.
It's definitely been a bad window for us. We are weaker up front and relying on this American to make an impact that seems highly unlikely.
I wonder how the club came to their valuation of Lamie in comparison to Watt. If the league's top scorer in Watt was only worth 100 grand it's hard to say that your 4th choice centre back is worth 30. I suspect we held on to Lamie because Burrows has realised setting a precedent where players get to chop 6 months off their contract if it suits them financially is bad business for the club but it just looks daft now after bending over for Dundee United.
If the American is any good he will surely come straight into the team.
Hopefully Maguire is fit because our midfield was toothless after he went off on Saturday.
