  1. Rangers taking big away supports to all the League 1 &2 grounds without incident surely blew that argument out the water. If Abroath win let them up and hopefully we can visit without a riot or a hurricane.
  2. It has to be 4-3-3. Kelly SOD Mugabi Sol* McGinley Slattery Donnelly Goss Woolery KVV Shields *If Sol is injured start Ojala, Lamie, Carroll in that order.
  3. The Joint Review Group are telling clubs to prepare for full houses after the winter break. We are 20 days into the Omicron wave and ******'s tsunami of hospitalisations still hasn't emerged so keeping fans out for longer isn't at all justifiable.
  4. If the restrictions are going to be lifted it will be announced at the update next week.
  5. Is there any way to compare season 20-21 under Robinson with 20-21 under Alexander using those stats? Probably best to forget 20-21 under Keith.
  6. We have a front three. There will be good minutes for 4 or 5 players through to the end of the season in our 18 league games plus the Scottish Cup.
  7. All speculation while we wait another fortnight for a game.
  8. Alexander agreed to an interview with Paul Slane so he must have a tolerance for numpties. If you're an opposing defender and you see KVV, Woolery and Lafferty lined up against you it's going to be a hard shift.
  9. Watt out, Lafferty in. Lafferty to outscore Watt 7-2 over the rest of the season.
  10. He definitely got stretchered off at Fir Park. It was the final home game for Randolph, Humphrey, Hateley and Law.
  11. Player have had their pre contracts cancelled due to injuries. Celtic did it to a Polish player. Martyn Corrigan had apparently made an agreement to move down South before getting injured in his final game of the season and ended up staying at Fir Park. The same thing happened to Richard Brittain when got injured after signing a pre contract with St Johnstone.
  12. If we sell Watt we need a replacement. Him and KVV have scored the majority of our goals and you can't be totally reliant on one player. The Scotsman are linking big Bevis with Celtic. There is probably nothing in it but I think he will be off at the end of the season. He has been exceptional all through 2021 and will have offers.
  13. If he's here in January and it's past the time when he can force through a move I'd give him a chance to show he's still committed. Other players have managed it. But before the window shuts giving him the chance to play at 50% strengthens United's position.
  14. Aye Wigan sold him for pretty much what they paid. Good to see the big man doing well. He should get a chance in the EPL next season if WBA keep up their form.
  15. One of the noticeable things this season has been how we have been able to continually change the defence and midfield yet get consistent results. In his Open Goal interview GA said the big difference between our league and English League One was having time to work with the players rather than constant midweek games and we do look a very well coached and fit team at the moment. He also said he was living in Glasgow with his family which I think makes a big difference. We've seen McGhee, Robinson and McCall all completely lose the plot and I suspect that the pressures of being based outside Scotland contributed.
  16. If we can get a good fee of around £200,000 and get a replacement lined up then sell him. If not he better get used to sitting on the bench.
  17. Big Kev dishing out some Boxing Day humble pie to a few people. What a performance. It was disappointing not to get the clean sheet but we are in a very strong position going into the break.
  18. Big Obileye was about 5 yards away from the ball when blocked that free kick.
  19. Boos for Watt from the ballot winners. Funnily enough I suspect the only people who will be angry about this are the ones who have spent the last few months licking his arse on social media. He had about a dozen clubs including 4 Scottish ones before he joined us ffs.
  20. Connor Shields is well capable of contributing against Livingston. Hopefully KVV and Wooly step up.
  21. Martindale has been running Livi for a lot longer than he's been the manager.
  22. I love him but Campbell's final appearance was a bit sketchy. I think Watt will get the opportunity to show he's committed but if his level drops he'll get the Big Dec treatment.
  23. He has the right to pick the best offer available but the all gesturing to the fans after scoring recently now makes him look like a helmet. He's in great shape this season and very highly motivated. United are taking a big gamble he'll maintain that sitting on a big contract.
  24. Despite performing less cancer screening and treatment, less cardiac treatment and having record low hospital admission rates for almost two years they haven't expanded ICU capacity during the pandemic. It's designed to fail.
