  1. I’d vote for Longelo but his name isn’t above. I thought he did very well when he came on. I’m too disappointed to even think about this any more tonight, we just cannot be changing 5 players especially a goalie …. Who was responsible for priestmans sending off imo….in a really important game like this. Gutting.
  2. Looks like Aberdeens proposed move for their new manager has hit the skids. not major news for us but it can potentially lead to unhappy rumblings from the fans and uncertainty from the players/manager. lets hope for an air of disappointment from the dandy dons tonight
  3. Looks like they are playing at wishaw sports centre
  4. I remember being at a dinner and had Paul Lambert sitting beside me. This was maybe about 6/7 yrs ago and he was good company…. As in he spoke more about Motherwell than Dortmund or Celtic (albeit he knew I was a Motherwell fan) but he spoke of the annoyance in the squad at the end of that season as they felt they blew it and we should have won the league as our team was good enough. He also went on about McLeish a bit too, but that’s another story.
  5. I was more concerned about yesterday due to Aberdeen being an unknown quantity with half a dozen new players in. We struggled at times yesterday but I’m sure Jens will have watched the game over a number of times already and will have sussed out the pros and cons of the Aberdeen side. itll be close again and a 1-0 is all we need but I do have a feeling it might go to extra time.
  6. Forget the top 6, that’s a given. We need to be thinking of winning the league. Michael Stewart has given us his endorsement as league winners…… why can some gadgie from Edinburgh think this whilst our fans don’t. ok a wee but tongue in cheek …. but why the fk not….. I believe!!!
  7. If the h**s win today which is looking that way just now, we’d be 10 points behind top with a game in hand. sometimes I have to pinch myself how incredible this season has been. Utterly incredible.
  8. Just watched Peter Leven’s post match interview. Aberdeen should have had 3 points today….. wow, that’s a poor take Peter lol
  9. Longelo, just and McGinn for me were our best players today. Went with Longelo, much much better performance from him.
  10. A proper digging deep performance. Brilliant result. We have to take our chances though. We made that harder than we should have.
  11. How may fkn chances are we going to squander
  12. We’ll have to dig deep in this 2nd half, park is cutting up really bad and I hope Said’s miss doesn’t come back to bite us. manny and Eli had been excellent
  13. I think it’s more to do with his legs. JBA did say at the start of the season something about players running and 10k being the minimum he expects. Halliday as much as I do think he is a good footballer is not the most mobile and I doubt he’s ever ran 10k in a match, even in his younger years.
  14. Something tells this me that this will be a wild selection and formation today. Aberdeen would seem to have a brand new side today as well as they went tonto in the January window. I’d except a crappy 1-0 win right now on what will be a boggy park.
  15. Totally agree, these were terrible refereeing decisions and there were dozens last night went against us. I don’t care what some people on this forum believe there are and always have been injustices against the smaller sides, against Rangers in particular. In my time I can think of dozens of “rangers referees” starting with JP Gordon (banished from the game due to bribery) right up to the Dallas’s and the Beatons of this world.
