Excellent performance by Nielson, long may his reign as No 1 continue!!

Would love to see big Neilson get his chance tomorrow in goal, he's a far better goalkeeper than Hollis and I think it's time he's brought in. Fair play to McCall for giving Hollis a chance but I think the Loyalty card he's been playing under has now expired!! His Superman impression at the first goal against Celtic should be the end. Neilson coming in could make our defence really solid this season..........purely my opinion!!

Think we should just save our money and cancel the charter flight!! Disappointing stuff but the better team won. Faster, sharper and better players!! Don't care what anyone says here but they were a decent team, look organised and will do ok in the Europa League sections when they get there. McFadden tried to do too much tonight, a few really good flashes but still looks off the pace, as did the majority of the team. Not their fault, the seasons not even started. Think we have a player in Vigurs tho, not scared to get on the ball and have a go. Cant watch Sutton up there himself......torture !!

Not been to Ipox in years due to feeling dirty and ill whilst inside that midden but i feel i have to go to this one, the thought of us beating them and not being there is too much to bare!! This whole intimidation thing is total nonsense, if anything it'll be more funny than intimidating!! To us older fans who were stuck in the old east stand shed in the 80s with bile pelting us with pies, coins and spit from both sides it'll be a walk in the park!! Bring it On, what they going to do? Probably the most Un-Spanish team i've ever seen!! they were there for the taking tonight but a complete off night from our players (and manager) made it impossible....too many bad performances to mention, Randolph did well and maybe one or 2 others but just a stinkin night, thoroughly disappointing!! No Passion or fight!!

Out of my hard earned wage doing a job i fuckin hate for an employer who are c*nts for which i support my Children, Mortgage, Bills,petrol costs, Childcare, season ticket, kids strips and a wife who spends money like a drunken sailor(with the looks to match) i'd love to financially support a journeyman player who doesnt particularly give 100% every week and doesnt really want to play for Motherwell and is just killing time til he signs for a League One team!! At least the BBC mentioned it, STV didnt utter a word on Wednesday nights program...not 1 word!! I was so disgusted i went on a rant to STV enquiries line, My long winded email was replied to today saying that "The reason we didn't cover it last night was that we didn't have access to any footage for the match and as far as we are aware it wasn't filmed. As such we felt from an editorial point of view that we couldn't cover the story. I'm an old codger who sits in the Main Stand and i'm usually the first to criticise Motherwell fans for being a pain in the arse but i thought the brigade in the east stand were fantastic last night and added to a great atmosphere, they didnt shut up all game and they are worth their weight in gold for the team!! Now lets get this straight, they threw paper on the park.....Paper?? why is there such a fuss? we were playing Greeks, they get scudded on a weekly basis with lighters, coins, flares and at times bricks..........Surely a few sheets of A4 Fullscrap is not something anyone should be concerned about? The only danger would be if the players lifted it up and got a nasty paper cut!! Hope all this fuss doesn't prevent these fans coming back as the club needs them!!

Delighted to see Law in the middle with Lasley, the talk of Hateley sitting in the midfield scared me!! Good overall performance, Humphrey excellent as was Law and the young boys did ok, Kerr looks a good young player and Hollis is a perfectly good 2nd keeper!! Couldnt really fault anyone today apart from Daley whos contribution is to moan and cry at everyone whilst flattering to decieve at the same time. Everton are a far better team than Panathaniakos so you just never know!!

Think we'll be scrapping it out in the bottom half this year but we're better than at least 4 other sides so we should be safe. A good run in both cups and not to be humiliated in Europe that is all

Results against Ayr are important, to get pumped 4-0 against a lower league team at the same stage of pre-season as us (i'm guessing they didnt go to the Algarve or wherever the f*k we went on on ours) is embarrassing!! i hope McCall goes through them!! Far too much Rangers mourning from our back room staff over the past few weeks...they need to get on with it, biggest game our clubs ever had coming up in a few weeks time, a result like this does not help in any form regardless of a friendly or not!!

Crackin team that was!! Always thought Bobby Russell didnt get the credit he deserved, got it in the neck from the boo boys time and time again!! Him and Cooper were great to watch together!! I still think that team along with the Dortmund Team were the best sides ive watched at 'Well !! Always a buzz going to the games as on our game we could beat anybody!! Happy Days!!

Really sad news!! I used to live next to his Granny up the Clyde Valley and as a kid i spent many a Summers night playing Headers,Flicks and Volleys with him and his brother!! Great Motherwell fan and a top guy!!! Thoughts go to his family!!

I feel very sorry for Forbes, i actually think he's got a lot of ability and is a way better technically than the likes of Lasley and Jennings. I think he's just not had a manager who's believed in him since Gannon left, after he went his performances dipped....not because he was too cocky, i think he just lost confidence!! McCall has never rated him so i think it was inevitable he was going to go but we have an ageing Midfielder in Lasley and Jennings will leave to go back south at some stage and Forbes could still do us a job, I like Carswell but he's not as good as Forbes imo. Good Luck to him anyway, i have a feeling he'll be back to bite us in the arse at some stage!!

Well done to the big fella, he's had to take shit from fans at the start of the season, hopefully he's won most of them over and in my opinion he's the main reason we're sitting ready to qualify for the Champions League!! 16 goals from a Motherwell Striker in his first season......not many have done that.....Legend!!

Once again another spineless pathetic display against the old firm, we definately have a mental issue going on against them by both management and players!! Really poor stuff today!! Hopefully they will all be shamed into putting a huge effort into next weeks match, they have a chance to get to the Champions League, something i doubt as supporters we,ll ever see again and i doubt any of those players are good enough ever to have a chance like this again!! It's never good to hear supporters arguing with players family members, thats embarrassing!! However Mr Hateley deserves a bit of stick this season as he does not merit the status of "automatic choice" as he always seems to be!! In my opinion he's actually a very poor defender. Going back to the argument thing, i think its a terrible idea that the Players and Players families have to sit with the away supporters as there's always going to be drunk fu*kwits spouting p*sh!! Surely they can get a few tickets allocated for the Main stand!! I remember Andy Roddie and his burd suffering a 90 min verbal assault at Ibrox when he was sitting amongst us, quite a number of our fans even apologised to him after the game, totally humiliating!!
