robsterwood
I'm wondering if Stuparevic may be back before end of year or sent back on loan? ACL injury that he sustained in February usually takes 6 to 9 months recovery.
weeyin
From the Forest Official Site: "After making 10 appearances for The Millers in the first half of the season, the forward joined fellow League one side Cambridge United for the remainder of the 2024/25 season. The 20-year-old will spend the upcoming campaign north of the border, playing in the Scottish Premiership for Jens Berthel Askou’s team. Head of Football Development & Talent Management, Craig Mulholland, said: “Esapa is now entering an important stage in his career, and we believe this platform provides a positive opportunity for him to showcase his learnings over his Academy and Loans journey so far. “Our Player Pathways team have analysed the data, and we believe Motherwell, and the coaching staff there, will fit well with Esapa’s style and that he can contribute to success for their team. “We wish Esapa well for the coming season and look for to monitoring, and where appropriate, supporting his journey.” It shouldn't really be a surprise these days, but was interesting to read that they have a data analysis team dedicated to developing their youngsters, and identifying loan moves. weeyin
I always used to wonder who enjoyed programmes like Mrs. Brown's Boys, but reading the "jokes" on here I can see their target demographic.

If we sign another striker and a centre half with proven league experience before the transfer window closes then yes maybe he does deserve some credit, so let's wait and see. Daws always gets mentioned with regards to the poor signings but he has definitely unearthed a few gems. I would think maswanhise was his for starters
dennyc
What strikes me is that Forest did their research as well and saw us as a Club that has a track record for developing players supported by Management team that would be good for their player. Suggests he was not just going to be loaned out anywhere to reduce numbers. That maybe says something about our profile down south.

Orinoco
Given the way he left us, it makes no sense to bring him back to develop, just so they can get £4m plus by selling him on. If we could buy him back for buttons, but with a sell on percentage, then thats beneficial to everyone. In anycase would he get enough game time given the way our midfield has been performing so far, and likely to get better??
wellgirl
See a few fans on twitter saying no - they would rather we developed our own youth players than bringing an ex youth player back on loan
